listened to Dersh's podcast last night re: Roe and the leak

He said that he believes the leaker is a lib, not a con. He had a good point. He brought up FDR and his court packing threat as a way to move the court to get favorable rulings on the New Deal. He thinks this was done to initiate that same threat to possibly get the court to simply rule on the Miss case and not blow up Roe. Apparently, that is what Roberts wants to do.

He said that whoever it is will never work as a lawyer and will most likely be disbarred. Even a liberal law firm would not hire this person because he/she cannot be trusted.

He also ripped Toobin and Tribe for being hacks (my words, not his, but that was the implication).

Even though he's a lib, I enjoy his perspective because I believe he has principles, unlike 99% of the left.

The leak is worse than actual decision. They can work on decision in courts. Now Supreme Court is political tool. Not to be trusted. All because someone disagreed.

Has anyone seen any arguments that leaking SCOTUS drafts is a crime? Definitely disbarment material (leaking your client's confidential info intentionally to harm your client or his reputation). Just wondering if there is some applicable statute.

Fired up the base, who were beginning to accept Joe is toast. This leak is dangerous precedent. All politics, leak designed for one party to get ahead- lol- libs, y'all talk effin fairness? This boils over, what's fair is going to be strong survive, not soy boys. And who has most guns.

Disagree strongly. Whoever it is will face administrative proceedings to revoke their law license. State bars police themselves to avoid being officially regulated by their states. They may win eventually on appeal but whatever state(s) issued their license will be all over this.

Unless it is a law clerk of Clarence Thomas, Amy Coney-Barret, or Brett Kavanaugh, nothing will come of this. If it is a clerk of one of those mentioned, look for that person's life to be ruined and the call for that justice to be removed for picking the wrong clerk.

LOL yes, if it were one of their clerks, then in fact their entire extended family will be threatened with utter destruction. In a mostly peaceful way, naturally.
