You ever want to cure someone off the weed before they ever get started, overload them on edibles. Miserable!
Exactly. Daughter is in the Air Force, wife works for a DoE contractor. This could end their security clearances, and likely their careers. BTW, taxpayers spent about $6 million in training for my daughter to this point, so kiss that goodbye.SwigAg11 said:

Definitely was high when she decided this would be a good idea.AgTrip said:

Edibles hit you way way harder than smoking. And it's a totally different feeling.
I'm not surprised the regular smokers there also got rocked.
But this deadly weapon stuff? Pot, even heroic doses, won't kill unless you walk out in the middle of the street. Assault, whatever, sure. But I can't see attempted murder, deadly weapon, etc., sticking.
How do you get to be 40 years old and not know this is A Very Stupid Idea,Quote:
The bride, 42, and caterer Joycelyn Montrinice Bryant, 31, have been charged with delivering marijuana, tampering with guests' food and misdemeanor culpable negligence after guests fell ill from the drugged dinner.

Both my family members avoid hemp and CBD, because there is no way to know how they effect the tests.

Slow down. That's not 100% true.

By the time police arrived, employees of Bryant's catering service, 'Joycelyn's Southern Kitchen,' were fleeing into their vehicles and away from the venue.

Tellini pleaded guilty to two second-degree felony charges of "tampering with a consumer product" and three misdemeanor charges of assault by "recklessly causing bodily harm." Judge Myers accepted the plea bargain and assessed Tellini five years of community supervision. He must work a total of 180 hours in a homeless shelter and pay restitution of $13,094 to five of the victims, to be split with his co-defendant.
Walker pleaded guilty to five misdemeanor assault charges. He received two years of community supervision, 80 hours of service in a homeless shelter, and was ordered to pay his share of the restitution.
Understood but she had no idea why she was feeling the way she was. Most people would not think that food at a wedding was laced with anything so I'm sure she thought she was having some kind of attack.OG UNF said:
Terrible. Except the part about the girl so high and paranoid she wrote a goodbye note, that's darkly funny.

Bryant, the caterer, allegedly told Cady about the food's secret ingredient. Cady told police that she thought Bryant was joking, and ate anyway.
She told police that she saw Bryant removing a 'green substance' from a punch bowl, placing it into ramekins and mixing it with olive oil.
'It should be noted what [Cady] was referring to what is commonly referred to as marijuana 'shake,' which is the small scraps that fall off larger amounts of marijuana, the affidavit read.
After she snacked on the bread and oil, Cady 'felt stoned.' Then, Svoboda told her that there was marijuana in the food, 'acting like [Cady] should have been excited as though she were being given a gift.'

BS. Being formerly with Homeland Security and the military, piss tests that burn positive do have consequences and losing your security clearance is just the start.AggieLostinDallas said:CanyonAg77 said:Exactly. actually if you start early you just skip to the cake part. $$$$$$$$$
I believe she thought the caterer was joking. Perhaps she should have believed the caterer, but what rational person would believe that a professional cook would contaminate her own food.hph6203 said:
Seeing it was only part of it, the caterer and her friend both told her there was marijuana in the food
