Why aren't we past letting some one slide because of their color or gender? I do realize there are some who think that if someone of color or whatever gender spews word salads and 5 dollar words that that person must be highly intelligent. Kinda like "he's clean for a black guy" attitude that Biden has for black folks. . This kind of omission of standards has gotten us into deep trouble and is just as racist as discrimination.

But guess I know answer to own question: Political gain by liberals. Especially when folks like Clarence Thomas, and other conservatives are railed as being dumb.
