FAQ: Phalloplasty

Spoiler alert - it's all cosmetic and completely non-functional

No, no! It's a simple procedure, called an Addadictomy (say it out loud).

This is simply a semantic argument over words. Remember when Bill Clinton argued over what the definition of "is" was?

Same thing. It's easier to start referring to people of this lifestyle by their chromosomes at birth-- XX or XY. For 3 reasons-

1. It's true
2. It will drive them bananas.
3. You can't be accused of discriminating.

This is a nice way of looking at it but there are actually 9 known genetic variations possible, ranging from XXXXX to XXXXY, with combinations in between. This includes XX & XY. The variations each have a birth rate of about 1/1000. And since there are nearly 300M people in the US, that potentially equates to 300K affected.

Referring to these as simply "variations" is not telling the whole truth. These are abnormal chromosomal mutations caused by errors during replication. They are not the same as differences in eye color, earlobe attachment, or the ability to roll one's tongue. Some of the effects of extra X or Y chromosomes can be severe. As you noted, these are very rare medical conditions.

Yes, completely agree. Most of these "variations" have developmental (mental & physical) issues. There are a couple of very interesting things in the research 1) genetic abnormalities could have a significant impact on gender identity/associated with homosexuality. Not all of this group has "mental issues" (as some use to bash them) but rather possible genetic/hormonal issues driving their behavior. 2) most of these "variations" are actually not sterile and can reproduce. This means there could be significantly more people with undiagnosed conditions that could be involved in this community without knowing why.

Bottom line: there are roughly 7% of the US population that identifies as LGBTQIA. Why the hell do they get 27% of the alphabet?!?!

Do I buy that some people are born with a brain that is not congruent with their genitalia? Yes, I buy that……but this is madness and has to stop.

You are contradicting yourself. You are exactly why this "madness" exists.

I also noticed you're only worried about how it looks for Democrats instead of the social issues it will cause in children. Just stop dude.
