I wish they would do this in the United States. Then we could fix some problems.

Ukrainian intelligence releases names of more than 600 alleged Russian spies

https://www.foxnews.com/world/ukrainian-intelligence-releases-names-of-more-than-600-alleged-russian-spies

Ukraine's defense intelligence ministry released a list of more than 600 alleged Russian spies working in Europe in an apparent attempt to burn them and weaken Russia's intelligence operations across the continent.

The list, released in Russian and apparently unavailable on the English version of the ministry's website, provides names, phone numbers, passport numbers, "registration addresses," license plate numbers and occasionally financial details for 620 alleged Russian spies. In a few cases, the list includes a home address.

I'm guessing US or Israeli Intelligence provided that information.

Whoever did it deserves a ton of kudos. Unfortunately we'll never know who did it, but at least they're fighting the good fight.

I'm guessing it's a mixed bag of R's and D's on the Uke list along with their family and friends. Would be a wonderful release, if they ever did it.

if true then great!!

but it does have the stench of DNC oppo research all over it. it's too bad they politicized intelligence and law enforcement against Trump back in 2016...their cred is shot.

I wonder how many of them were really U.S. assets (double agents).
I voted for this because I like Mean Tweets!

One alleged FSB agent has a Skype address including the phrase "jamesbond007," along with the characters "DB9," referring to Bond's Aston Martin. Another agent reportedly has a taste for "premium cars," while a third is a heavy drinker who "systematically violates traffic regulations."

If this is a real list, seems really stupid to release it.

Why burn all the spies you know? You don't burn them, you track them, you wiretap them, you feed them disinformation.

You don't burn them and send them home, only to have Russia send in 600 more spies who you don't know are spies.

This reminds me of something I read about Wirecard. Normally just a straightforward fraud story until you investigate one of the crazier executive officer characters who had business dealings in Libya, rode with Russians to liberate Syrian cities from isis, a palatial house in Munich across from the Russian embassy, and shows up in london with top secret docs on Russian poison. Dudes now ghosted (if not dead). How many of these guys are floating around out there? This is from 2020

Mr Marsalek is now a person of interest to three western intelligence agencies, according to officials in three countries.

In particular, they are intrigued by Mr Marsalek's association with individuals or networks linked to Russia's military intelligence directorate, the GRU the agency blamed for the attempted assassination of ex-spy Sergei Skripal in Salisbury, the covert war in Ukraine, and the manipulation of the 2016 presidential election in the US.

Because potential future rewards are discounted to reflect their importance to the current state, and in the current state, severely disrupting Russia's intelligence gathering is likely vitally important. The Ukrainians have decided that the short term benefits of potentially putting Russia in the dark in Europe and disrupting FSB operations ave drawing their focus to repairing their European operations is more beneficial than keeping all of that information in their back pocket.
