I Stumbled upon this video from march 15th and wasn't sure where to post it. This thread is all over the place but lots of focus on propaganda, so this may give an interesting take to this discussion. Listen carefully to Lara Logan.

I love how Lara Logan is raw and straight forward when she reports. I' remember when she was with 60 minutes and captured and tortured in Afghanistan, and how she broke stories no one would cover.

I also love how ex fox Anchor Ed Henry keeps trying to interject and spin what she's saying and just look at the dumbfounded look on the face of Karyn Turk, mouth agape starring at her monitor like WTF did I just hear. I found this interview fascinating.

I'm sure the producers were having an aneurysm watching this unfold on live TV. I'm curious to how long will it be before Youtube takes this down. But the content Lara Logan is bringing is a 180 from what you're hearing from all other sources.

If I consumed myself with all of the evil throughout the world…the war, the genocide, the slavery, the sex slavery etc etc I'd be a pretty miserable person. Especially when I am powerless to stop it. This war is just the popular thing to focus on right now, I get it. I am just far more worried about our own future in the near term.

Someone being a threat is always something to be concerned about, but when someone else is intentionally causing war, murder, rape, etc., the first guy doesn't get the same level of concern as before. Like with everything, China as the main threat got pushed a little back when Putin started his war. Had he not the other things would seem as pressing as they did.

Again, not that everything else in the world isn't a cause for concern, but thanks to Putin, he's taken the spotlight right now. War tends to do that.
