I'm not responding to him again, because he's an obvious troll. But I'm not sure how he hasn't been banned yet. He always drops in to make drive by, ass hole comments and make personal attacks and staff seems to tolerate it. Staff wants to maintain civility but his garbage always gets a pass.

Just saying, i've been banned for much less.

eta: just noticed he called you "lady." reminds me of being in 2nd grade and calling my little brothers things like "maam" to get under their skin. Frederick's mom needs to come down to the basement and make him go outside. and not let him eat dessert for a week.

Im fine with it, they are doing a lot more good than many other organizations receiving dollars. Better than building/maintaining huge buildings used infrequently by people that necessitate existence of charities like Trevor project iykwim.

I'd rather donate my money to an organization that helps oppressed LGBT people in need of things like shelter and food.

As opposed to making really smart financial decisions like donating to Trump's legal fund.

Lol, I knew this had to be Taylor before I even clicked on the thread. Taylor is a Marxist. We used to engage in some political private messaging back in the day and have even talked some in person, but have fallen out of touch for a good five years now. I remember when his television news director wife took the job in Wisconsin (briefly), but didn't know about the affair or that was the reason why they moved there. I know they have vacationed in Hawaii several times and not surprised that they have moved there. However, I always got the impression that Taylor was a natural conservative based on some of the non-political things and beliefs that he would say and also got the impression that his wife has been a tremendous influence on his political beliefs.

What is interesting, and something people like Taylor should think about, is that 10 years ago, no one heard a word about kids wanting to be transgender. Suddenly, this is a big issue. Has a sudden change in the human DNA caused this? No, children are being conditioned to think about and question their gender. Taylor being all in on this doesn't surprise me and I think he would be totally against it if his wife was.

Bruh, the prospect of losing a kid is one of the biggest selling points advocated by plastic surgeons to justify to families why they should be payed thousands upon thousands of dollars. You aren't being sympathetic to those families. You're virtue signaling, and you're lying to yourself and others as much as greedy plastic surgeons with no business in the medical field are lying to concerned parents. Real Aggies aren't advocates for gaslighting and child abuse

You still referring to the "care"of a plastic surgeon and their lobbying for expensive medication to be used on minors, rather than the help of a qualified pediatric therapist? We can all respect what an adult chooses to render unto solely themselves. What isn't respected is a**clowns gaslighting parents to mutilate their children before said children have fully and cognitively developed.

Well when liberal parents think stabbing a baby in the base of the neck and vacuuming out the rest is "medical care"... I don't trust their evaluation of "standard of care" later in life either.

Not gender reassignment, although after taking puberty blockers that the kid may or may not have actually made a decision to do so, would almost certainly be the next step. And guidelines "recommend" not giving puberty blockers until age 16ā€¦which means it definitely can and does happen to kids younger than 16. It's also "partially irreversible," whatever that means.

" Professional organizations such as the Endocrine Society recommend against puberty blockers for children who have not reached puberty, and recommend that patients be at least 16 years old before beginning hormone treatments for feminization or masculinization of the body. "

We will not agree on that. And from my informed view it's absolutely a mental illness. Accommodating and sustaining any mental illness in a child because you don't feel able to help the child through it is a huge disservice to said child.

Their life will absolutely not heal or be better living in a make believe world where you can identify as something you aren't and then blame all your struggle on that.

I have no choices in sports talk radio down South of SA so I listen in often to Ticket 760. I think Taylor is easily swayed one way or the other and his wife sucked him into this idea. They are in the process of divorce from an announcement he made a while back. I think that all of this trans stuff with the "boy" was contrived by his wife and he played along because she was hot. I now think in the process of the divorce he is white knighting as hard as he can to get her back. He also strikes me as being a **** that knew she was cheating on him before the announcement of the divorce/separation. He is easily swayed one way or another and after "The Bear" left the show he has had a run of lefty sidekicks that are dumb as a box of rocks.
Today, unfortunately, many Americans have good reason to fear that they will be victimized if they are unable to protect themselves. And today, no less than in 1791, the Second Amendment guarantees their right to do so. - Justice Samuel Alito 2022

Donates to the Trevor Project. Something about a fool and their money
Im fine with it, they are doing a lot more good than many other organizations receiving dollars. Better than building/maintaining huge buildings used infrequently iykwim.
I'd rather donate my money to an organization that helps oppressed LGBT people in need of things like shelter and food.

As opposed to making really smart financial decisions like donating to Trump's legal fund.
Yes LGBT people are really oppressed in this country I thought after Trumps gay concentration camps there wouldn't be much of them around anymore. ..Again something about a fool and their money
Who posted they're going to a trump concentration camp? Not me. Lies, lies, liesā€¦
It was a fear among the gay community when Trump and Pence were elected. HTH
I am a gay man who knows literally hundreds of gay men, many who make hysterical claims on social media about republicans. Never have I ever seen that posted or discussed in real life. Try not to take a fringe persons commentary and apply it to millions of people, I don't do it to you. Everything I post here is evidenced by numerous posters usually in the same thread.

Oh no you misunderstand, I'm saying there are many posters here I can evidence as a starting point with very close proximity to the discussion along with voting records, platforms, studies, etc.

Posting gay people say Trump was sending them to a concentration because you saw an unhinged person tweet or tiktok that is something entirely different.

Agree with your assessment. My favorite side kick was Dingus.

When their son gets older and regrets what he has done, he will look at his parents say "WTF were you thinking"?

Its a big issue for the parents of these kids and unfortunately some republicans that want to tell everyone what to do, that's it.

It's a non-event for the rest of us.

Yet here you are relentlessly defending it. Classic txagfan.
Maybe I know how to mind my business and respect a parents decision to pursue medical care under the standard of care for their child's situation?
You still referring to the "care"of a plastic surgeon and their lobbying for expensive medication to be used on minors, rather than the help of a qualified pediatric therapist? We can all respect what an adult chooses to render unto solely themselves. What isn't respected is a**clowns gaslighting parents to mutilate their children before said children have fully and cognitively developed.
Children are not receiving reassignment surgical procedures. Is that in the talking points on this issue you all received this week from GOP?

You are 100% wrong on that. This man performs gender reassignment surgeries on these children (with the consent of their parents) daily.

He's not alone.

"It's not happening" and "it's just a conservative talking point"ā€¦

But doctors are literally suing anyone who interrupts them from continuing to do it.

I only read headline, neither of those are surgical procedures.

I skipped most of this thread, but I have a suspicion that a large percentage of the most difficult problems go away if kids are allowed to play outside with other kids until they are in their early teens. No science, pure opinion. There's something about real life and nature vs living much of your life in an artificial internet environment.

This shouldn't be read as "there's no such thing as gay". More that giving kids a chance to act like kids did for hundreds of thousand years might be conducive to developing their own personalities without a lot of the static and pressure that comes from the always-on social media environment before they even know who they are.
