The pictures were all real, just not from the war.

Sad that it's happening, but this is a smoke show for some other stuff going down in congress that nobody's reporting about.

As Texans we celebrate William Barret Travis and the defenders of the Alamo. His "victory or death" letter is required study in every Texas History curriculum. I'm not sure I understand why this same sentiment is being criticized now that we're seeing it from Zelensky and the Ukrainian people. These citizens would rather die as Ukrainians than live under whatever fascist regime Putin will install.

As far as foreign aid is concerned, the West is taking a very frustrating but calculated approach. We are trying to do as much as we can without escalating this to a multi-national conflict. I think many countries wish they could get involved through military intervention, but any action by a NATO member has the potential to instantly draw all NATO members into the conflict. It might be best for the world as a whole to avoid that level of escalation.
