Well, that makes us all feel better……

If Ukraine is smart, they'll rain hell on as many military targets as they can reach, now. The further back Russia has to put their valuable assets and logistics, the clumsier their invasion becomes.Hard for anyone to get too butthurt over that.

Agreed. Just like the other weapons slowly introduced at, from what I can tell, near arbitrary moments in the war. There is not enough to make a real strategic difference from their warheads alone. The totality of ATACMS, SCALP, and similar have to be in the very low hundreds of units delivered. That includes the ones already consumed. Added benefit of pushing assets further away from the front line again though for Russia which is very hard to quantify but an undeniable benefit.

It's making a splash on the political scene as mentioned of course and some more things in Russia will blow up for sure but I can't disagree with those commanders saying it's not going to make an appreciable difference on the overall war itself. Maybe if it had been allowed at an earlier time perhaps….
