The first curious aspect of the story involves the fact that it took so long for a public announcement to be made. The school obviously had access to that video almost immediately and if it had been some white kid wearing a face mask who they couldn't immediately identify, the calls would have been going out the same day seeking help in identifying the racist perpetrator. But they sat on the story for more than a week before finally admitting what had happened

Both the school's discipline system and the local authorities that declined to charge.

It is called "crying wolf".

Hadn't even heard of this or seen the thread until 5 minutes ago. Now I look up and Dinesh D'Souza is on live from the Woodlands talking about it with Laura Ingraham as we speak.

He made a good point regarding the bigotry of the left and NAACP trying to sweep it under the rug. Said if a white student did this they'd be expelled but because it was a black person perpetuating the hoax the leftist view is they should get special treatment and need to be held to a lesser standard thus defining them to inferiority.

I say keep it up. Soon they will have cried wolf one too many times and using racism as a political weapon won't mean a thing.

So a high school student learned about Jim Crow Laws and correctly showed what it would have been like back in those days. A striking visual that should cause shock and outrage.

Then everyone takes a step back, breathes, and see how this "prank" shows how much our country has grown that a teenage black girl had the education to pull off such a "hate crime". That she also shares a school with other students from different ethnicities.

I think learning is taking place.
