Interesting - I spoke with a Canadian colleague (from Montreal) who recently visited Texas. She said it was so refreshing to have a diversity of media coverage for a change.

Apparently, there are two topics that dominate 90% of news coverage there:
1. COVID
2. Hockey

Unfortunately, your friend is a brainwashed dumbass that doesn't understand the big picture nor the reality of these truckers because I'm sure she thinks they are beneath her.

She probably doesn't realize that most of these truckers don't even come into contact with anyone else. They move product from point A to point B and is one of the more isolating jobs there is. Their risk of spreading COVID is minimal compared to most other job occupations. In addition, they happen to be in one of the most critical jobs there is because it enables commerce and allows the larger population to meet Maslow's Needs during times of crisis.

If not for these truckers she is probably not able to get some of the supplies she uses every day to treat patients for a variety of illnesses or issues. Typical narrow minded, dumbass doctor that doesn't know **** about anything outside of the human body. And many have squandered the equity on the latter at this point.

Most doctors are highly intelligent people. However, the covid response has exposed many that are not critical thinkers, and are just good at regurgitating what they're told.

Additionally, the lack of independent thinking and the love for appealing to authority by the entire population has been exposed, not just some doctors.
