And here is the kicker. Now that everyone assumes it is a mass grave the indigenous people have called it a sacred burial site and won't allow anyone to excavate there to confirm it.

There were finds at two different schools, one where they found a known cemetery and were investigating the theoretical "crime" of removing the headstones, and the aforementioned might-be-graves.
