West side of the airport has been nearly shutdown since yesterday meaning no landings or departures on that side except Cargo. All departures and landings happening only on East side. DFW is also about to have some high winds around 30mph.
Could be a bad day for AA at DFW

Dear God can Lufthansa just buy all American Airlines.
not sure what san antonio has to do with the fact AA is horrible, i actively fly southwest who is based in DFW

AA million miler here. i am certain my lifespan has been calculably shortened due to the stress of dealing with them on a weekly basis for nearly 15 years. if there was ever an upside to COVID its that i havent had to fly on American.hedge said:

If I can't fly business class or to Europe/Asia at best you're the Aldi of the skies. Clean, efficient, and well kept but you won't always have what I need.

Federal law does not allow foreign ownership of US airlines. They can own up to a 25% stake, but that's it.

Enterprise software deployment. Haven't flown once for business since before Covid. Life is much much better now
There are about 15 planes waiting on the runway for their turn to takeoff. Almost every flight has a delay

Thankful United just got our daughter and son in law home from Denver to Midland. 35min delay but not bad with 2-4" of snow and temps around 5 degrees.
I hate flying AA because they have the tiny planes going to places like Amarillo.
The wind blows 15 mph and they will cancel the flight.
SW flies the 737 everywhere and can get in most conditions.

The Command Center has a Ground Delay Program in place for departures. Was told yesterday there were COVID-related staffing issues in Fort Worth center.
Could also be impacted by the delays in Chicago
