Unpopular opinion, but I don't completely hate the new regulation. I haven't read through the details or anything so maybe I am just being naive, but it is really easy to turn a blind eye to some of the poor conditions we subject animals to. I do the carnivore diet quite often so I don't want to see higher meat prices, but some responsibility should be exercised.
The article specifically mentions "gestation crates". If I'm not mistaken, those are used only for sows giving birth. They have a nasty habit of laying down on little piglets and killing them. Those "crates" give little ones room to escape.
Being in TexAgs jail changes a man……..no, not really

Bacon has become freaking expensive.
I paid 10.99 a pound for the store made bacon at HyVee.

My son is lucky he is cute and I love him.
Really? Appleton Farms bacon is $4.55 / lb here in OKC at Highland. It's a pretty decent quality and goes great with the pinto beans on sloooooow cook. $11 a pound!?

Possibly one of the greatest foods on earth bar none. Yeah, it's bad for you but I don't eat it all that often and it improves my mental health after ONE BITE. Best anti-depression medicine ever.

That seems pretty damn odd considering she's in Missouri...a rather large pork producing state.
Of course it was for that. In what universe did you think it was okay to post a naked man spreading open his butt cheeks on our platform?

Elections are when people find out what politicians stand for, and politicians find out what people will fall for.

I am entirely for the humane treatment of any animal. They should be treated humanely. The problem I have is that I don't believe much of anything the progressives say.

They just don't understand how it's harvested, that's all.

Homer: Wait a minute, wait a minute, wait a minute. Lisa, honey, are you saying you're never going to eat any animal again? What about bacon?
Lisa: No.
Homer: Ham?
Lisa: No.
Homer: Pork chops?
Lisa: Dad! Those all come from the same animal!
Homer: [Chuckles] Yeah, right Lisa. A wonderful, magical animal.

They ARE wonderful, magical animals. Who doesn't like all of the above? I'm making pinto beans right now with a pound and a half of bacon in the crockpot. The bestest and mostest tastiest food EVAR!

Dang, almost forgot.

FJB!

"The pig is an amazing animal. You feed a pig an apple, it makes bacon. I find that impressive, let's see Micheal Phelps do that. The pig is turning an apple-essentially garbage-into bacon. That's magic"

Well, it is Missouri. Missouri is a state that is still finding themselves. Oklahoma just freely admits it is just a bunch of rednecks that love their bacon and the opening day of hunting season. The important things in life.
