Sounds like your sarcasm detector might've been what failed here.

And, now, everyone with a Pro V they use, and already has a "Let's Go Brandon" message printed on their ball by Titlelist , will save them to use as their "putting ball" only. And now these balls, are no longer made, which will assure they will be in use a looooonnng time, and a topic of conversation much longer than they would have been if just left alone. The ball is now a coveted item. People will trade for them. "Hey, you got a "let's Go Brandon Pro V. Got any more?....."

Virtue signaling backfires, and they have done this with their biggest customers. Titleist's think tank, can't think very well. But they feeelz good.

My stand is that companies be allowed to discriminate in whatever manner they wish, including race, sexual orientation, religion, etc. But since that's not the case and never will be, I'm for outlawing discrimination based on political ideology also.

That's not forcing Titleist to do anything, it's preventing them from doing something.

There are no businesses that "refuse to serve gay people" There are businesses that served gay people, and the gay people (some of which were regular customers) specifically targeted these businesses and demanded a customized product/service that was in violation of the owner's sincerely held religious beliefs. Hell the guys in Colorado drove past dozens of bakeries, including Muslim owned establishments, to deliberately set up the Christian baker. Love wins, right?

I've been a Titleist user for over 40 years. It has been my preferred ball. No more.

This will have some lasting repercussions for them.

This reminds me of being a years long American Airlines flyer until they screwed me for no reason one afternoon about 15 years ago. I haven't flown them since.
