I'm confused. Dude gets a good deal on some insulin and the problem was solved wholesale by Trump? When most everyone else is still expected to pay hundreds per vial? What is going on here? Why would one dude's success story (even if true) change the reality for many others suffering to afford insulin? You guys are weird.

This pricing ($33 per vial) is available to anybody in the country, and has been since the Trump administration and congressional leadership sat the manufacturers down and said $100 per T1D, or we start legislating.

A piece of diabetes information for some on this thread: Type 2 is not 100% caused by the fats. If you are inactive and overweight you are at a significantly higher risk of developing T2. But there is a genetic component of T2 that causes some to become diabetic, even if they are not overweight. It is lazy to qualify all T2D as fat, even though I would agree it is a very common contributing factor.
