Our nuclear forces are always on alert.

What Putin wants is for us to publicly match his rhetoric in order to frighten the world and pressure Europe into abandoning Ukraine. We're not playing into that gambit.

First strike does not achieve Putin's ultimate goal: regime survivability. This is a bluff.

We need to be as brave as the Ukrainians.

Not militarily. Massive new sanctions and might consider other items including sanctioning 3rd part traders. But NATO is not going in unless attacked.

NATO isn't going to watch Russia drop a nuclear bomb on Ukraine and not get involved. Every country in Europe at that point is in jeopardy.

Kennedy savvy? HA!

He put nuke missiles in Turkey, so Khrushchev called his bluff and put missiles in Cuba. Kennedy publicly made Khrushchev pull missiles from Cuba, and Kennedy secretly pulled missiles from Turkey.

Not all nuclear weapons are Hiroshima type and yield. Small battlefield nukes/Neutron weapons are short burst and not necessarily "dirty". Your troops have to still occupy that area, after all.

We most certainly had them, but apparently dismantled ours in the 80s. Other nations won't disclose their situation, but they certainly fit Russian battle doctrine.

Nothing yet. Could be air defense. Still looking. Some guesses the plane shot down in the other video is related but doubtful.

BTW I don't believe anything is reputable anymore, everything is suspect.

Don't worry though there are a half dozen people not contributing to these threads that will sure as hell let you know with a dozen posts of their own if you post something that is old footage or inaccurate.
