NATO needs to step up and make them bleed even more. Even if it's standoff weapons against fixed assets like runways and bases, make them bleed and poison pubic sentiment. There is already a protest movement in Russia, but I'm pretty sure this invasion will get even more unpopular if NATO engages and it turns into a serious shooting war against near peers that spoils onto Russian soil. Having their cities counterattacked and having the war brought to them is not what the Russian public signed up for.

Tracked vehicles do not travel well over long distances. They can, but you pay a price with losing some along the way. The Russian forces probably have parts stocked up to get the job done. But, some of their older tanks may have issues.
If Russian forces plan to use their tracked vehicles in their assault across Ukraine, they will be slowed by their ability to travel. Maybe they have a fleet of trucks to move them, but that will mean they have to use the roads.
We will see just how well the Russian military has kept up their vehicle maintenance.
