Not exactly overwhelming. And "Operation Reassurance"? That's about as non threatening as you can get. The French is definitely strong in them…

Zero chance. Russia's military is significantly stronger than Ukraine..... but they would get absolutely annihilated by any unified military force. The ONLY way they stand a chance in any major conflict would be with all of China or the US might alongside them..... and that's not happening.
Again, Vlad isn't going to trigger a war with NATO and risk a full conflict. He knows he can take Ukraine since it's not in NATO and nobody wants to risk war by challenging him over it.Polaris75 said:https://www.foxnews.com/opinion/russia-ukraine-new-cold-warWrec86 Ag said:Wait, this is someone's serious take?Polaris75 said:

IMO, NATO has lost its strength due to a dwindling population and a major shift of the young to socialism.
Hope you are right.

Yesterday at 6:51pm EST my Twitter account was locked with initially no reason given, after talking with Twitter the reason was never directly given instead attributing it to the Staged Firefight Video from Pro-Russian sources released 4 days ago.

But I am lucky, there were plenty of other OSINT and News Accounts that have also been suspended in the last 24 hours who accounts have not been unlocked.

I think there is a very high likelihood that NATO/Western Europe is perfectly fine with sacrificing Ukraine, even if it's just half of it, for their own security. The Minsk Agreements and Budapest Memorandum mean basically nothing to those involved imo.
Seems Russian bots are mass reporting news and OSINT accounts, leading to them being temporarily locked, not great.

That's been pretty obvious since the beginning of this, frankly. The EU doesn't care about Ukraine and taking them on was always going to cause a war. If you think about it, if they had taken on Ukraine then they would have been forced to put boots on the ground and in the air to actually help fight a war against Russia.jabberwalkie09 said:FJB said:

That's not a step he will take now IMO. If I'm in the Baltics or Poland I know it's coming.YouBet said:It will stop in Ukraine. While Putin is ballsy and rash, he's not irrational. We aren't dealing with radIslam here.FJB said:

Getting Ukraine by itself is a massive win and unique considering it's status and situation that will sustain him through his time as leader I suspect.
The only other move he might try to make is getting that DMZ corridor to Kalingrad.
Maybe but they at least can prepare. While Putin can ostensibly roll through eastern Ukraine, the US and the West have already said they are gong to fight a proxy guerrilla war inside Ukraine. I suspect he gets bogged down some in western Ukraine depending on far how he goes.aezmvp said:That's not a step he will take now IMO.
