You say that you hate mandates, but you still want companies to force their employees to take the vaccine or get fired. The WH is encouraging this even if they can't fine the companies right now. (They couldn't fine then until Jan regardless)

Man I love this board. I'm the only free, safe, and effective poster here.

How are they telling the 5th Circuit to "piss off"? Be specific. The ruling stayed the OSHA rule requiring vaccine mandates for businesses with 100 employees or more. That rule carries fines up to $14,000 per violation. Can you provide the board with some examples of OSHA ignoring the court order and levying fines or even inspecting violating businesses?
When did I say OSHA ignored the court order? Hint...I didn't.

Then why comment on a post regarding the 5th Circuit's stay against OSHA in a case where OSHA/DOL is the named defendant?

Only mandate I want to see enforced is the one the Ags are going to put on Ole Miss this Saturday!

I am against all mandates, private or government. I am pro accurate information as it's our best weapon against government lies. When we post inaccuracies it only makes us look stupid.

OK, you start. The vaccine isn't free or very effective at preventing infection or spread of the disease.

The vaccine is free for the recipient and does very little to prevent spread, though it can reduce chances of infection for those vaccinated.

I was referring to the Administration...you know, the people IN CHARGE OF OSHA. The 5th Circuit stayed their order. Then the Administration proceeded to tell everyone to IGNORE that order and just continue with the mandates regardless.

THAT is telling the 5th Circuit to piss off...if you can't understand that, I'm sorry...

Where do you think the money to pay for the vaccines comes from? Big Pharma isn't doing this out of the goodness of their own hearts.

The only thing that matters is the legal ruling and legal violations by the letter of the law.

The actually ruling is this...

Quote:

Before the court is the petitioners'1 emergency motion to stay enforcement of the Occupational Safety and Health Administration's November 5, 2021 Emergency Temporary Standard2 (the "Mandate") pending expedited judicial review. Because the petitions give cause to believe there are grave statutory and constitutional issues with the Mandate, the Mandate is hereby STAYED pending further action by this court.

The 5th Circuit stayed the OSHA mandate. That's it. The Administration as a whole is free to continue to push businesses to vaccinate their employees as long as they do not enforce the mandate. That's how the law works. If you want the Administration to remain completely silent then file for an order requesting them to do so.

If this were a therapy session I think I would say this is a success. Compare the above statement with, "the vaccine is highly effective and could be compared to the polio vaccine". Nobody should be forcing this vaccine on anyone. Not the WH, not OSHA, not private or public companies, not anyone.

You say that you oppose all mandates, but the you proceed to cheerlead for it in practice. The WH was out of line to tell companies to ignore the court and continue pushing the vaccine on their employees (regardless of the ability to impose fines). You would do good to say that's not right.

I have consistently said that the choice to get this vaccine is between the individual and his physician.

Further, a businesses mandating the vaccine isn't "ignoring the court". The stay has zero to do with legality of businesses mandating vaccines on their own accord.

Telling businesses they can enact their own mandates doesn't violate the court order. Punishing them if they don't it because of the rule does.

Ummm this was not encouraging anything.....u know that the message is clear....the executive is running things.

ignore the courts. **** the constitution and checks and balances.

but u would be 100% okay with that cause ur okay with fascism as long as it is in line with ur beliefs.

So the White House and Osha will be fining businesses in the 5th circuit jurisdiction if they don't comply? Is that your position?
The White House spokesperson LITERALLY told businesses to ignore a decision of the 5th Circuit.

Take that as you will.

NOTE: I didn't make ANY comments about the vaccine. Only about the executive branch's opinion of a judicial branch's decision.

The 5th circuit's order does not prevent businesses from mandating a vaccine.
Of course not.

Businesses, at least in many states, are free to do implement all sorts of policies that they want to implement.

I'm sure that the Executive Branch applying political pressure like this would have ZERO impact on corporate policies...

The 5th circuit order also doesn't prevent the executive branch from applying political pressure to businesses to enact a mandate.

Its legal.

Is it coersion?

Is it fascism by proxy?

Yes and yes.

But like I said, fascists like u are okay with coercion and government interference as long as its the kind of fascism you like.

Fascists like you despise personal freedom and love them some coercion.

Get the jab or lose the ability to work and feed your family. Join the party or lose the ability to work and feed your family. Right up your alley.

The next step is "Join the party or go to jail."

You'll be okay with that too.

Businesses should be free to hire and fire whoever they want for whatever reason they want.

Yep.

Businesses in Nazi Germany were free to hire and fire whomever they wanted.

They just got better government contracts from the Nazi government if they were in line with the party.

Total freedom...just got benefits if the businesses bowed to coercion.-fascism disguised as carrot

Then the businesses were free to hire and fire whomever they wanted, but they had to pay higher taxes if those employees were Jewish.- fascism disguised as stick

Then the businesses were free to hire and fire whomever they wanted but if they employed Jews the government took over their business and gave it to a loyal party member.-outright fascism-

Like I said.

You see where this is going.

But you're okay with it because u believe in the party.

Fascists always are.

Pathetic take.

Nonsense. I believe the owners of businesses, those who put up the risk to start and run them, should dictate how they run their businesses.

Though I see you do not. It's okay, the communists favored the worker too.

LOL.

Businesses acting under duress from the government are not acting freely. And if businesses collude en masse or with the government to force at the point of starvation- individuals to behave a certain way, that is immoral and an infringement on individual rights.

^^^this is what u don't seem to grasp^^^

or you do grasp it and are blithely ignoring it because as stated before you believe in the party line.

that's okay. i know that trying to change the mind of a closeted fascist is impossible and you have made more than enough posts on here for us to know what you are.

i only engaged you because i hate it when people masquerade as one thing when they really believe another.

While business are free to do as they wish, they are being coerced to be the enforcement arm of the dems who want to enforce their will on all the people. And you fall in line because egos have to protect your beloved "vaccine".

HCA healthcare just mandated vaccines for all of it's employees today. Must have 1st dose by Dec 4th and full vaccinated by Jan 4th.
Further education to follow about vaccine efficacy, clinic times, possible exemptions, and to provide proof.
