So the White House and Osha will be fining businesses in the 5th circuit jurisdiction if they don't comply? Is that your position?

The 5th circuit's order does not prevent businesses from mandating a vaccine.

That's not technically correct. Companies ordering vax doesn't violate order.

Goes along with plan all along. Get companies to do your bidding knowing courts would strike down a mandate

White House tells businesses to proceed with vaccine mandate despite court-ordered pause

The White House on Monday said businesses should move forward with President Joe Biden's vaccine and testing requirements for private businesses, despite a federal appeals court ordering a temporary halt to the rules.

"People should not wait," White House Deputy Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre told reporters during a briefing. "They should continue to move forward and make sure they're getting their workplace vaccinated."

The U.S. Court of Appeals for the 5th Circuit, considered one of the most conservative appellate courts in the country, halted the requirements Saturday pending review, writing that "the petitions give cause to believe there are grave statutory and constitutional issues with the Mandate."

The Biden administration has until Monday evening to respond.

The court-ordered pause came a day after the requirements went into effect, starting the countdown for businesses with 100 or more employees to ensure their staff have received the shots required for full vaccination by Jan. 4. After that date, unvaccinated workers must submit a negative Covid-19 test weekly to enter the workplace. All unvaccinated workers must start wearing face masks indoors at their workplaces starting Dec. 5.

The Republican attorneys general in Texas, Louisiana, Mississippi, South Carolina and Utah, as well as several companies, requested the pause. They argue that the requirements exceed the authority of the Occupational Safety and Health Administration, which will enforce the mandates, and amount to an unconstitutional delegation of power to the executive branch by Congress.

Republican attorneys general in at least 26 states have challenged Biden's vaccine and testing requirements in five different U.S. appeals courts since last Friday. The Republican National Committee said it has also challenged the requirements in the D.C. Court of Appeals.

Their position is clear and consistent. They want private businesses to have employees vaccinated. This release is an advisory not a warning if a private business chooses not to while their is an injunction.
They can take their position and shove it.

They have no right to have any position regarding whether or not I take any vaccine.

They have no right to decide whether or not I can earn a living to feed my children!

The elitist scum who have decided that they are God and can dictate what natural rights I can and can't have can kiss my big fat white ass.

Of course not.

Businesses, at least in many states, are free to do implement all sorts of policies that they want to implement.

I'm sure that the Executive Branch applying political pressure like this would have ZERO impact on corporate policies...

Its legal.

Is it coersion?

Is it fascism by proxy?

Yes and yes.

But like I said, fascists like u are okay with coercion and government interference as long as its the kind of fascism you like.

Fascists like you despise personal freedom and love them some coercion.

You're entitled to feel how you feel about the decision. However vaccines have been mandated before and there is precedent to have a vaccine mandated as part of law factually speaking. They are not setting any law or infringing on ones complete right to work and feed their children, that's an extreme suggestion/narrative. I'll refrain from the profane commentary in your post.

I think people are severely misunderstanding their position in that message. They from the beginning have been clear, they want businesses to enact mandates regardless of the law. They simply reminded businesses they don't need a law to proceed with the plan they set forth under the OHSA. As for now they want all are aligned to proceed as planned and will fight in courts for those who don't won't to proceed.

Well, they ARE telling the 5th Circuit to piss off...

But, you're getting what you want, so who cares about that.

For someone who is against mandates you sure are supportive of mandates...

How are they telling the 5th Circuit to "piss off"? Be specific. The ruling stayed the OSHA rule requiring vaccine mandates for businesses with 100 employees or more. That rule carries fines up to $14,000 per violation. Can you provide the board with some examples of OSHA ignoring the court order and levying fines or even inspecting violating businesses?
