This is my incomplete understanding based on the above videos, recent things I've read, and what I remember at the time.

I vaguely remember this story from the time of the Hunter laptop story and it seemed like it might be a fake to distract from and discredit the laptop story.

As others have stated, it is supposedly a diary from Biden's daughter that has bombshell accusations against her dad. It was allegedly left in a hotel room in 2020 and discovered by people who then tried to find a buyer for it and contacted Project Veritas and likely other media outlets. That seems rather convenient.

Project Veritas was unable to verify the authenticity of the diary and decided not to publish it. They contacted her lawyers to try to return the diary but they didn't want it. So they contacted law enforcement about it and that was the end of it.

The FBI just recently raided Project Veritas and the homes of associated reporters looking for the diary. Apparently there is an ongoing investigation that the FBI suggested Project Veritas keep quiet about to protect the integrity of the investigation but at the same time the NYT published a story about PV this just hours after the FBI raids so someone is leaking information about it.

So it sounds like either the diary is legit and the FBI is acting as Biden's henchmen by trying to recover it, or the diary was a setup by the FBI and they are using it to raid Project Veritas and possibly try to frame them for anything they can. This would fit the FBI's pattern of setting people up by staging events and planting evidence. Maybe they wanted PV to publish it so they could nail them for theft and who knows what else, but they didn't take the bait so now they are using it as justification to raid them to see if they can find some other crime. Sounds like they confiscated electronic devices of PV and the reporters. That's a great way to conduct a witch hunt.

All of the information about this centers around Project Veritas specifically but if they were shopping this diary around there could be other media outlets targeted as well.

So is it legit dirt on Biden or is it a trojan horse operation by the FBI? Both possibilities are disgusting and yet believable.
