The price of greatness is accountability. I'd argue that being Transportation Secretary is greatness now where's the accountability?Matilda said:

Saw that live and it was hilarious. Didn't get near the laughs at the table that it should have.ABATTBQ87 said:

The name Matilda is a girl's name of German origin meaning "battle-mighty".Matilda said:
I actually agree that secretary of transportation is a critical role that comes w certain sacrifices. The title of time off for "breastfeeding" made it sound like paternity leave in general is not masculine or something to be ridiculed.

Maybe when you're the Transportation Secretary, you have little experience for the job (other than expressing a love for travel and having proposed to your husband in an airport terminal), the President is mentally addled, and the country is in the worst shape with supply chains in generations, it's not exactly an ideal time to take two months off from your job. Just maybe that's the time when either step aside and let someone else do the job (take your pick as to which job you want) or you take a short stay at home and then get your ass back to work.Matilda said:

Or when you're a federal government employee who enjoys benefits beyond those of the average citizen (who pays for said benefits through taxation).TXAG 05 said:Matilda said:

it makes a bit more sense for the mother to get a rhythm going (but not 13 weeks sense at the expense of taxpayers or other shareholders).Tanya 93 said:
Could a female Secretary who gave birth stay home to breastfeed for 3 months or could the baby come with her for nursing?
