Seriously outside of a purist like Cruz who else could have been more principled (Cruz would not have been effective)? All of that was with impeachment, metoo hoax, russia-gate, etc.

It is like some people live in a bizzaro world where Trump was holding back conservative policies and not the senate/house. Only reason he didn't get more done is McCain, Romney, and gutless house reps.

Look i dont love Trumps bombastic presidential persona. I'm not a vulgar guy. I just appreciate the effectiveness of that character and how it allowed him to win. He made being a conservative "cool". Very important in our political landscape. You hear all the FJB chants. Yeah you can thank Trump for that. Trump might have set the country up to destroy the progressive agenda by deligitamizing biden through the will of the populace. That is a big deal.

I think that's a key selling point that we can thank Trump for the FJB chants. Before no one thought that chanting profanities at Presidents at sporting events was cool.

Well maybe a little during appearances by our erstwhile POTUS at games, but not at just random events.

It's kind of funny that Trump was able to devolve our discourse at the ground level to professional wrestling fandom, which is where the electorate wanted it all along much to the Establishment's chagrin.

First time I ever saw a profane message aimed at a president in public was guys holding F Trump sign up on street corner in Austin. And another w F Trump bumper sticker. I'm sure it gets worse at vag hat rallies or other left wing get togethers. Then like minded folks get panties in a twist over FJB or let's go Brandon or Trump commenting on Gen Powell n McCain. Spare me

I think for me it was the various punk artists transgressing against royalty or government officials in the 70s and 80s.

I was just rolling with what the poster before me said we had to be thankful for. Once Rs take back the Presidency it will be identical from the left.
