Whataburger was great 3 decades ago. Their quality as slipped to the point where you can get a better burger at Dairy Queen.*

Have never given In-n-Out a shot. I might have to now.

*If you're in BCS, give Carter's Burgers on Texas near Villa Maria (ironically next to a Whataburger) a shot. It's what Whataburger tasted like 30 years ago.

And to make it politically, Carter's has signage on their door stating that wearing a mask is a choice left to both customers and employees.

DQ definitely has a better burger than WB now.

We used to frequent WB but it has gone down hill over the years. Now we just go for the occasional jalapeño cheddar biscuit sandwich.

Took a couple of tries to get In-N-Out the way we like it. Get the double w/cheese, onions grilled, no spread, easy mustard. Fries well.

Good. I've been a huge Whataburger fan for over 50 years. Now they've decided to eliminate the "One Nation Under God" stickers from their remodels. Just in time for me to switch to In-N-Out.

Wouldn't surprise me given their sale to the Chicago firm a couple years ago.

I'm a huge Whataburger fan. It's an alright burger for the price. I just had Sonic recently...and it's pretty much how I remembered it being. I think its a fair bit better than Whataburger, and DQ isn't too far off. I think it's important not to get hung up on the loyalty of Whataburger and understand that these are all fast food burgers that taste different. Hell, I think Five Guys is WILDY superior to all of them.

Fair enough. And its obviously anecdotal but there was like <5% in Big Bear and very little signage. I was a little taken aback how different it looked even compared to Dallas where many places are still kind of faking it. Zero f's given in Big Bear

Big Bear is in San Bernardino County.

Order the fries "well done" which means they're fried twice which makes them taste like regular fries.

The fries are the hardest thing to get adjusted to because when you're ordering the fries are still potatoes. That's how fresh they are.

You can do the same or "extra done" at click fil a, and it is also a game changer.

In-n-Out is simply a great American company with great food to boot. I will be enjoying a double double with onions tomorrow for lunch.

Not fast food, but Katy Trail Outpost has the best burgers I've eaten.

Grabbed two #2 animal style last night after kids swim meet.

Katy Trail Outpost is awesome. Never had any bad food or bad drinks there.

After all this talk I had to go. Grabbed a double-double with grilled onions for Friday night dinner.

I don't understand why people feel the need to defend Whataburger, it isn't even a Texas company anymore and the quality has clearly dropped off the past 10 years. Same way Ags used to still defend Freebirds after it sold out and went downhill.

Haven't eaten there more than once a year for the last 5 years. I don't know what they did, but they absolutely ruined the food. I'd rather eat McDonalds at this point.
