Yes, just tattoo 666 on your forehead.

But yet, we put up with it.

Voting is useless because they've perfected how to rig an election. Their strategy of slowly turning up the heat keeps people from uniting and charging up the hill. It feels like there aren't many options.
The Australia thread covers the trend pretty well.

The Air Force did a study early on where they went onto both commercial and military planes and released a similar sized aerosol, studying air patterns in planes.

They found that the ventilation systems are so good that you can sit next to someone shedding virus and be at microscopic (pun intended...sorry) risk of cross contamination from them, especially if you open the air blower onto you.

(A friend gets an unclassified military medicine document that they send out to active / reserve medical personnel, and he forwards it to some of us.)
I know you can smell BO from people who did not bathe. As well as dirty diapers when someone's brat ****s themself. especially if these people sit in aisle seats.

My advice would be not to let politics dissuade you from seeing the world. We aren't here long and there are so many beautiful spots in the world.
This is not taking a shot at you, but coming at this from a different angle, these mandates are essentially politics doing the dissuading for us.

Full disclosure, I am in the unvax'd group who has had an asymptomatic case, as well as, 'blessed' to have the opportunity to pay the government over +30% of my pay.

Hopefully we all live long enough to find the truth in all of this and don't do anything we cannot recover from.

Yes and no.

Already a flourishing industry but to fly people for money is under the regulations of the FAA. I All public airports are under the rules of the FAA.

Vaxs and mask will be the norm if the FAA requires it.

FAA doesn't have a ton of authority here when you move out of 121 flying. TSA doesn't get to determine security there. I would love to see this be what we need to make the short and long haul air taxi/135 type stuff get off the ground. There are already a couple that do this for cheap between a few select destinations - Love and Lajitas, Love and Aspen, etc. The Lajitas flight is a large biz jet for a few hundred round trip. No TSA to deal with. Just go like you're walking out to your 182.

WHAT ABOUT NATURAL IMMUNITY??

Rand Paul was asking those questions last week.

Natural immunity doesn't raise stock prices for Big Pharma that then "lobbies" (bribes) politicians with their 10%

Moderna is a different story but JNJ and Pfizer have significantly underperformed the overall market in the past 12 months. FYI.
MRNA may be at the start of a big fall after Friday's close -- below or near the moving averages.

The closest I've come to that story was flying Domestic in China. It was a zoo.

Not for this mandate but it won't be a death blow to the industry.

You are completely wrong on this. Obama would consider me wealthy and I work with a lot of other wealthy individuals who are not vaccinated because they have natural immunity.

Sure. Still have seen studies showing that 40-45% of the unvaxxed crowd makes less than $40K. And that 75% of adults (and 50%+ of Republicans) have been vaccinated.

Just Google "Demographics of COVID vaccinations" and start going down the list.

You do what you want. I just don't think there are enough unvaxed or affluent unvaxed to devastate the airline industry. Just making the observation. Not voicing support for a mandate.

If COVID is still at the front of the news cycle and Biden or Kamala is still president when she becomes an adult, we'll have more severe problems.

All this talk misses the point that "unvaxed" don't spread anything if they are not sick with it. Absolutely do not buy asymptomatic claims.

So the idea that the vaxed in some way may be amplifying it also does have to be looked at. There is much that does not add up.

Unvaccinated people were never afraid to fly or travel. Many vaccinated people praised the shut downs and are much more skittish on getting back to normal.

I guess. I'm taking a trip each of the next 2 weekends. Probably 18 different people between the 2 trips. Flying for one and driving for the other. Only 1 unvaxed going. All from Texas. No one scared.

Remember at the beginning they told us that the asymptomatic carriers were the most dangerous and that's why we had to quarantine whether we were sick or not? Back then you had to quarantine longer if you tested positive with no symptoms than positive with symptoms. What about later when they told us that masks worked because it made asymptomatic sick people contagious with a less serious version of this thing? Seems like there were a lot of things blamed on asymptomatic carriers over the last 18 months. Most of questionable logic.

What is the FAA going to fine the 135 operators for? The point I was making is that once you take TSA out of it, there isn't a lot FAA can do.

I understand what you are saying but I think the FAA has other arms of enforcement to go after non compliance 135 companies without going after the passengers. Not sure if it will happen but I put nothing past our federal government from enforcing mandates.

The only justification for this is an attempt to bully Americans into getting vaccinated.

There is no science. No research. No sound thinking to indicate this will achieve anything meaningful.
I'm sure they will also allow those with natural immunity to fly.

It seems like when Chinese are gathered in large groups they forget all common sense and turn in to characters out of lord of the flies, only trying to ensure they have a better outcome than the next person. I saw a video of Chinese at a buffet that really cemented that for me.
