I am hoping that the Airlines fight this. This will discourage so much more travel for no reason at all. Do the airlines really want to check everyone's vax cards. Or will the TSA have to do it ? ?

Personally I have not travelled at least 7 times in the last 1 1/2 years due to this Covid Crap. At least 5 of those trips would have included round trip flights. That is quite a bit of money I did not spend with the airlines. I am pretty sure I am fairly typical in my flying somewhere 4-5 times a year.

Do the airlines really want to continue and even increase their losses in ticket sales. Also, I am sure that the airlines know a lot of business travel is not coming back. Zoom meetings have taken their place. The Airlines are already in trouble this would probably kill them all.

Can't wait to hear about the Gov spreadsheet that lists everyone's vaccine dates so they can mandate the "unboosted".

Both the gov and corporate vax mandates are all going to unravel over next 6 mo to year. Will be hilarious to watch them drop all the "science" once they realize it's not practical to enforce.

And what does that have to do with the government mandating vaccines to fly? Nobody should support that decision if they make it.

Moderna is a different story but JNJ and Pfizer have significantly underperformed the overall market in the past 12 months. FYI.

This is BS. I'm vaccinated (Moderna) and I still don't see any benefit of me having obtained it. If anything, I feel more fatigued than I did prior to receiving the vax.

Speak for yourself. Not sure where you got that stat. I haven't flown since 2006. Would like to visit friends in Mexico but this probably saves me $$$ for passports. I will not get injected with something that's 40% effective. I know health insurance is the next industry to mandate. Guess I'll save $1300 per month. I'm self employed, FWIW.

Nope. Haven't needed to. Every where we go is within driving. Except that one time we drove to Vegas. That was a beast but had to haul a car trailer. So no flying. Driving to Destin Wednesday.

Not anymore. I'd love to see southern Italy and the hubs Australia but the world has lost its mind and too many countries have too many ME refugees. IMO.

Edit to add, we have good friends with a home in PV. Would love to spend a week there with them. We'll see

My advice would be not to let politics dissuade you from seeing the world. We aren't here long and there are so many beautiful spots in the world.

Caribbean, Iceland, New Zealand, Holy Lands, Greece, Japan, etc are all absolutely worth making the trip.

The Air Force did a study early on where they went onto both commercial and military planes and released a similar sized aerosol, studying air patterns in planes.

They found that the ventilation systems are so good that you can sit next to someone shedding virus and be at microscopic (pun intended...sorry) risk of cross contamination from them, especially if you open the air blower onto you.

(A friend gets an unclassified military medicine document that they send out to active / reserve medical personnel, and he forwards it to some of us.)
