I know "The Middle" was a hokey show, but he was hilarious as Rusty the few times he was on there.

He was one of the one of the first more "conservative" people from Hollywood to start being outspoken. Well today he would be considered conservative

Funny, funny man. Obtuse, sneaky, wasn't afraid to take risks.

RIP Turd Ferguson.

Fired from SNL because Lorne was friends with OJ, and Norm made one too many OJ jokes.

Tremendously funny man.

Not Lorne, but Don Ohlmeyer, the head of NBC. They were golf buddies.

He was the best of the SNL News anchors and the OJ jokes were always awesome.

He had that wildman look in his eye that you always knew something crazy was likely to come out of his mouth and often did.

Always liked Norm. Never thought he was the funniest comic, but I appreciated the way he pushed and provoked.

The Conan where he ruined Courtney Thorne Smith's movie promotion was probably one of the funniest things I've seen.

When Conan said "make a joke with that ya freak!" And he said, "I bet it's spelled B-O-R-E-D" I almost died. Funniest thing I have ever seen.

RIP

RIP Norm.

He was absolutely fearless. Look up his appearance on The View where he brings up the Clintons killing people. Barbara Walters is incredulous and asks wherever he would get an idea like that? Norm's response to Barbara: "Oh, I thought that was common knowledge."

Norm was considered a comedian's comedian, beloved in the community by his peers regardless of their political bend. His Letterman appearances are legendary.

This one stings in a world with too few real comedians and too many propagandists.

God's blessings and comfort on Norm's family and friends.

Got to see him at the Laugh Factory a few years ago. Pure greatness.

And the way he got under the skin of those cacklin hens on the View years ago with the Clinton killed a guy talk? Again, pure greatness.

That's the beauty of Norm. No ribbons. No self-pitying social media posts. No public farewell. Just Norm being Norm to the end. I respect the hell out of that.

Damn, on top of being a truly unique and brilliant comedian, really seemed like the type of celeb that would be genuine and just cool to be around if you ever bumped into them at a bar or something.
I him do stand-up at Cap City Comedy in Austin several years ago. It was one of the best routines I've ever seen. He hung around after he was done and talked with anyone and everyone that wanted to get a picture, autograph, or just say hi. His sex bit is hilarious.
