They're hoping that cases surge in the next week because of football so they can force it to be played without fans again, or even shut down completely.

I've never met a bunch of more miserable people than Branch Covidians.

But that's pretty much how politics goes. Both sides want to stir up emotion to combat the other side. So you'll have "blue" forums that constantly search out the topic-of-the-day to be pissed off about (or wait for their blue news channel to tell them) and you'll have "red" forums that constantly do the same.

Then both sides will find a fringe post far left or far right post and frame every single person that isn't on "their side" as "that person". With half those fringe posts just being fake accounts and bots at this point.

And round and round we go until one day you look up and you've spent your Labor Day weekend being upset that there's a reboot of Wonder Years on ABC with blacks and that there's some rapper that made a picture of him "pregnant" with his new album and wonder if maybe your time isn't better spent doing something more productive (or at least something that doesn't cause you anger).

Watching that video made my wife get a little misty-eyed. She had some friends at aTm that invited her to "Yell". She said it was one of the coolest things she had ever seen or experienced.
