A Texas woman told police in 2002 that Georgia US Senate candidate Herschel Walker had threatened and stalked her, according to a police report obtained by CNN.

The woman, a friend of Walker's ex-wife, told police that the football star had been following her, and had previously made "threats to her" and had "her house watched." The report did not specify the nature of the threats by Walker, who is now one of the highest-profile Senate candidates in the country and a close ally of former president Donald Trump.

Over the years, two other women -- Walker's ex-wife and an ex-girlfriend -- have also accused him of making threats, telling authorities Walker claimed he would shoot them in the head. Their years-old accounts have resurfaced in recent weeks as Walker, who won national fame as a college football player at the University of Georgia, launched a campaign for the Peach State's battleground Senate seat. The third woman's account has not been previously reported.

They're terrified of him running in GA. Looks like they're starting the Kavanaugh treatment immediately.

He's going to get a lot of flak for living out of state and it remains to be seen whether he can handle the campaign given his known mental health struggles.

Current Dem attacks are designed to try to get moderate suburban women rallying the polls to vote against him.

But your perception of "attack mode" is simply facts of an allegation in 2002 being acknowledged. HW being a legend in GA is subjective to who you ask. I would say he is far from a legend and even before announcing getting into politics he has been heavily mocked.

What's convenient or non convenient about an actual allegation. Background checks are routine for non political jobs, whenever any individual runs for political office their criminal background will become a relevant talking point. I didn't mention race or insinuate anything close to resembling race related.

a guy from Georgia sent a letter to one of the LIB blogs I visit....pretty good stuff. I'm doing this from memory.

" this entire Hershel Walker deal is a joke, but typical of the way Republicans do things these days.
A. the Incumbent Democrat is black
B. they're always calling us old white guys racists anyway, so let's pick us a black guy too, any black guy will
do. After all, they all look alike anyway, don't they?
C. and while we're at it, lets pick us a black guy that all us old white guys remember fondly.
Hershel Walker's glory days with the Georgia Bulldogs were from 1980 to 1982. Few people under the age of 50 even know who he is. Throw in the Russian Roulette stories....this will not end well.
Back in 2008, the Republicans went through the same thought process. Hillary Clinton loses the Dem nomination to Barak Obama. okay, the GOP reasoning goes. Let's pick us a woman, any woman, no matter how stupid or crazy, because we all know women will always vote for any woman, because they vote only on emotion. And that's how we got.....Sarah Palin."

Good Grief!

It's gonna be interesting to watch Hershel Walker defend the Georgia GOP Voter Suppression laws...you know...where you make elderly black voters stand in line for hours and hours, and don't dare give 'em a bottle of water.
Sure...black voters are going to storm the polls to vote for the Party that made all that possible.

I'm more concerned that they don't have any plumbing issues that causes the observers to be sent home when he's way ahead, but the dems start "counting" again at 3 am by themselves and his lead evaporates with 100% of the votes coming in for Warnock.

And Hershel Walker's pro career reminds me of Trump Steaks....all sizzle....no beef.

The only team he helped win a Super Bowl was the Dallas Cowboys....when they traded him to Minnesota .
Dallas rode that deal to 3 straight Super Bowls. Jimmy Johnson called it "The Great Train Robbery". It is
still considered the most lopsided trade not only in football, but in all sports history. Hershel had great individual stats, but for his price tag, he was an ornamental luxury that few teams were willing to throw money at, especially after the salary cap started in 1994.

Go to any NFL city where he played...Dallas, Minnesota, Philadelphia , New York (Giants) and mention "Hershel Walker". you'll get nothing but eyerolls and facepalms. None of that helps him as a candidate..for that matter, .he never played for the Atlanta Falcons, and I bet the Falcons ( and their fans) were darn glad that they never flushed all that money down the Hershel Hole.

And Donald Trump is to the Dems
what Hershel was to Dallas...the gift that keeps on giving.
- Trump flipped Georgia from Red to Blue
- Trump handed the Dems 2 Senate seats

Anyone can provide unbranded water to poll workers that can in turn provide it to people waiting in line.

As a reminder, the only reason for the water restriction is because democrats broke the spirit of laws banning electioneering at polling places by handing out campaign-branded water.

Since you don't acknowledge the actions of a large amount of tech and media institutions actively working to suppress conservative views...

Parler expanded...and were SHUT DOWN by AWS.

I'm glad for TexAgs because they allow me to see lots of different views. I pray they don't change.

The problem is it's always whining about Twitter, media, etc. If you all have such a huge following and should have won elections why can't you make a dent in the media? There should be PLENTY of market for such a large group and "majority" of US voters.

You're the gift that keeps on giving.

If you believe the media is controlled by Dems, its not my fault your conservative media (OAN, newsmax, fox) can't make a dent.

Can't make a dent.

Fox blows away CNN and the other leftist cable networks.

Once again, you post something totally wrong and completely ****ing stupid. There's a reason you don't make any $.
Im not the one whining and complaining about the media all the time like conservatives do. If you want the stories you think are being ignored do better, find a new strategy.

Why are you wanting to get into a dick measuring contest AGAIN tonight? Just for grins I looked last night during our pissing match, my income (just my W2, not my 1099 or investments) is in 98% for a person my age. Get a new stereotype, not all Democrats are welfare recipients.

Edit: clarified the income item

Trump also endorsed the vaccine. A conundrum indeed.
I love Trump, but I'd still tell him to jam his mRNA vax right up his ass, so what's your point?

First of all, I highly doubt it. Your posts are indicative of someone that really struggles in personal interactions, which doesn't bode well. Secondly, I'm not trying to compete with you. I absolutely assure you my assets and income are a a lot higher than yours, which is obvious.

You can't argue. At all. I've seen 1Ls that form better arguments than you do in their first semester of legal practice class. Your points are absurd and completely lacking support. Someone with my resume and background explains to you how the Supreme Court is supposed to work and you just wave it off because you have absolutely nothing you can respond with because you don't know anything about it. You don't even realize how awful the position you've taken can easily blow up in your face. You're doing it TODAY when appealing to "precedent" while not even realizing the decision you're arguing for was an absolute abortion of a decision that completely ignored decades of it.
