We have massive, strategic and long term issues that must be addressed like how to we build credibility back with our allies after Afghanistan, what exactly is our plan if China goes after Taiwan, how do we pay down the debt and maintain US as the currency of choice in the World. Having a President with mental capacity issues getting up and talking about putting a piece of cloth on your face with everything else going on is embarrassing and shameful.

I believe they would have to weigh the consequences if Taiwan has plans to destroy multiple dams including the 3 Gorges Dam. If I were Taiwan I would have plans in place including super sonic (maybe hypersonic) low altitude missiles that may be extremely hard to stop. Doesn't Taiwan have some F35 aircraft also?

When the last flooding occurred I saw estimates up to 400 million Chinese lives would be lost not including the inevitable starvation/disease.
