If that is true, what a kick in the teeth to an already ****ty situation.

This whole damn thing is such a huge deal in international relations and the American people have already forgotten about it.

Just a reminder. Those school kids from California are still stuck in Afghanistan.

Quote:

Ray does a good job digging into the issue, however:
Quote:

San Diego County students who had been unable to flee first made headlines. Then, it was discovered that Sacramento-area students were in the same predicament. The last U.S. planes departed around midnight Aug. 30, though not every American citizen was able to make it aboard.
Although the San Diego students' situation was the most discussed, there appear to be more students from around Sacramento still in Afghanistan. …
There are dozens of Sacramento-area families still in the country, according to the San Juan Unified School District. Recently, three families including seven students made it back to the U.S. But about 38 students are still there.
That's 38 children abandoned by Joe Biden in his rush to the exits in Afghanistan. It's also 38 children that the national media keep ignoring, Ray being one of the limited exceptions to that trend. Ray contacted Rep. Darrell Issa (R-CA), who has been very vocal about his efforts to get abandoned Americans out of Afghanistan, and whom other media outlets are studiously ignoring as well:
Quote:

Rep. Darrell Issa (R-Bonsall) who has been very critical of the Biden administration on social media has aided in coordinating evacuations. His spokesperson Jonathan Wilcox gave The Times a statement about a parent and four students from the Cajon Valley Union School District who remain in Afghanistan:
"We are tracking one remaining El Cajon family unit, and it includes El Cajon schoolchildren. We've provided their names, documents and other detailed information to the State Department on numerous occasions [emphasis his] as well as discussed them with [the State Department] repeatedly. Congressman Issa and his team continue to press official channels including State, DOD, DHS, and the White House on a daily basis."

I thought these terrorists were different. They seemed to care and want to try and work on climate change / women's rights.

Surely Joe Biden knows what is going on.

Sec Blinken, life comes at you pretty fast.

China thinks you're a joke
Russia thinks you're a joke
France thinks you're an idiot
Britain thinks you're incompetent
And the Taliban is just laughing at you.

Fitting for this administration

The British government actually voted to hold President Biden in contempt.

President Biden and his administration are contemptible and corrupt.
Among the latter, under pretence of governing they have divided their nations into two classes, wolves and sheep.”

We've got set of balls on us though. Flee Afghanistan in a clusterf*** with our tail between our legs, and then begin throwing ultimatums at the victor.

There's no military answer assuming that China now controls the air space from Bagram, is there?

I don't see one.

Can't make this up. Checking into the DoubleTree in downtown Tulsa and the lobby is JAM PACKED full of military age middle easterners. First thing I can think is "there's no way"

Then I see a white lady in this shirt…(reads Afghan community care team) the Afghan female next to her was the ONLY one I could see. Mind boggling

Thanks for the heads up when I booked on your app Hilton…

AFAIK, The Taliban has said that. IDK if China has said that to the US yet.

I feel bad for these refugees. Not because of what happened in Kabul, but because they are in Tulsa

Depends on what we want to do in the airspace. Imagine if we want to just overfly for reconnaissance purposes they couldn't stop stealth aircraft and bombers from doing it.

To paraphrase Top Gun that is a helluva risk with that expensive aircraft. Biden is already writing checks his body can't cash (hopefully neither can his son and the rest of criminal family).

Nearing the end of October and this is now released:

State Department officials briefed congressional staff this week and told them that it is in touch with 363 Americans in Afghanistan and nearly 176 legal permanent residents, a congressional source who was on the call told Fox News.

Been in touch with means in contact (not dead or in prison). Though likely a smaller number, how many cannot get in contact with our government? If cell service is still out and the internet is strictly controlled (guessing help and monitoring from China), what is the real number?

Frankly, I doubt we will ever know. I haven't seen such a blatant write off of American civilian lives in my life. Has anyone else?

Yup - it's very sad. Zero accountability. None.

The criminality of the Biden Administration in this debacle is unbelievable. They pulled 100,000 random whoevers out of Afghanistan and left behind thousands of US legal residents and citizens and tens of thousands of SIVs actually deserving to leave, and lied the entire time about what was actually going on.

Not one person will be held accountable for this debacle and that's just as big of a problem.

F*** JOE BIDEN

So State has under 400, DoD has a higher number.

"The Pentagon stated Tuesday that nearly 450 American citizens are still in Afghanistan following August's U.S. military withdrawal, more than the Biden administration has previously claimed."

So at first they had no idea, that is the job of the state department. Now they do, how so? What skills or assets did the pick up on their way out of the worst evacuation since the titanic?

You have to love that we handed over territory, equipment, and bases (who knows how much classified stuff) almost directly to the Chinese. It's like America's president is working for the Chinese and not for America. Crazy.
