I've seen college aged kids wearing masks, outside, alone. It's like a badge of wokeness or something to them.

They are trying not to spread it a lot of the timewhether it's just trying not to infect "people" or maybe they have elderly family in mind - vaccinated or antivaxx like lots here who knows - they don't want that on their conscience. It's a thought I had many times pre-vaccine when I'd do something marginally risky and then see my mom a few days later.

If they wear a mask out of some sense of conscience, then like most people, their consciences aren't properly formed.

Best Buy isn't, and I just bought one of their laptops without wearing a mask. I'm sure the laptop from Best Buy is just as good as the one from the Apple store, and unlike many a typical Apple costumer, I can live without the feels that one supposedly gets from going into their store.

Just walk away from your shopping cart full of perishables. Leave the store as requested. Make them take the time and effort to put it all back on the shelves or trash it because you touched it. Either way they lose, The more often that it happen the more they will regret the policy. They will stop enforcing the mask mandate when it starts costing them time and money.

Their signs are in fact legal. If they ask you to leave, and you refuse, you ARE trespassing, and they can have you removed. If you refuse or fight the cops, you are going to jail on a couple of class B misd charges.

If a sherif is refusing to enforce a PRIVATE BUSINESS asking someone to leave, he won't be sherif for long..... either via criminal prosecution , or voters when they realize he's stripped them of their private property rights.

Just don't patronize a private business requiring masks. You have NO right to use that business "on your terms", it's not yours. Y'all are the same kind yelling "bake the damn cake" at people and taking it to the USSC.

Yup. TAMU is no different. Saw lots of them this year when I was as down there visiting my son. Idiots.

My question, unless I missed it, is how many people that caught the virus in this group had it the first go around and didn't get vaccinated?

If we go back down this road I'm gonna be a smart ass this time around. I was calm and quiet last time, preferring to let it play out til we knew more about the impact of masks. Now we know.

No. I'll and leave when they ask me to, if they do. Most won't because they know it's not worth the hassle.

Through the whole nonsense I never wore a mask. The PGA Superstore in the Woodlands was was the only store I was asked to leave. A few Karens in grocery stores shrieked about my attempt to ruin their lives and kill all the nurses but mostly I saw people wishing they weren't masked. If this returns again just live and ignore it.

That's not the man. That's the messenger. And unfortunately the man has put the messenger in an unfortunate spot. So when the messenger tires of the laughter, stern looks and occasional verbal tirades he will quit. Then the man will feel the consequences of his actions by being understaffed, stressed out and having to spend money and time hiring a new messenger only to have the process repeat itself.
I'm tired of playing nice and trying to be the better person. It's time to level the playing field and begin the process of taking our country back. This is a baby step. Let's see how far they are willing to go. I know how far I am.
