The "Woke" are just the puritans of our lifetime. They are no different than those of the past who were intolerant of anybody who didn't think like them. They see themselves as the arbiters of morality for all of society, and you are not allowed to disagree. What is sad is seeing a magazine like Sports Illustrated that was never going to sell more than 10 copies of the Swimsuit Issue to members of the woke mob completely surrender everything that made the issue worth more than a passing notice, in the hopes of gaining the approval of a mob that was never going to (and still won't) buy their magazine.
