I remember growing up in the 1980s. Everything was about the world getting better. So much positive vibe. There is a reason why 1980's pop is popular again.
Fast forward 40 years later. Lots of pessimism. When one of the most important trends in popular culture / cinema is the degradation of society, the prevalence of zombies and post apocalyptical worlds in fiction, you know that, collectively, our psyche is in trouble.
But, then, there are people that just keep posting upbeat, happy things to brighten everyone's day. Everyone's.
Give us a puppy, Rocky. And, everyone show him some appreciation with a star on his post (or two, or three, you sock loving sons of beaches), if he has made one of your days better.
