Have you looked at raw material costs and shortages, fuel costs, and the cost of almost everything else?
No appreciable change to the cost of living is a farce.

Excessive government spending temporarily increases the markets in the short term until the value of the dollar collapses.

Looming hyperinflation can destroy all of your gains.
