Weirdly, that is one on tv that I have actually heard people over emphasizing lately. Instead of just important, it become impor TANT.

This also drives me crazy. It is not just Texas. It is every single TV show that isn't scripted. My daughter's pet peeve is people who substitute pacific for specific. I started listening for it, and was surprised how many people do.
