Are you talking about the Corona forum or here on Politics? Because there are upper cuts and teabags of the Corona craziness on this forum on the regular - and it's allowed. As far as the Corona forum, it has a a different purpose and we expect a different type of engagement.
Corona forum is where my posts were deleted. And I fully expected such a result.
We conservatives/libertarians take shots from marxists all day long on forum 16 - it's been that way forever and I know I'm completely cool with it.
The problem is the "science" has been utterly hijacked by politics and bad actors which have also successfully hijacked CDC, WHO, MSM, Academia, scientific associations and other organizations. So while trying to make the Corona board an informational board, who ultimately controls the sanctity of the "information "?
It is the left. Post anything from the American Association of Physicians and Surgeons (AAPS.ORG) and it will be tarred and feathered as heresy.
Everything is politics now. EVERYTHING. And those who control the servers and the networks and the social media accounts and moderation control everything.
There is a hierarchy and TexAgs is at the mercy of those few overlords.
Walk the line or get canceled a la Parler. There is no other long term option to be truly "open" to all ideas on any medium unless you own your own infrastructure. And you know how ridiculously expensive that is. Those that do it end up becoming a service provider to others.
If I had the best fan/forum website out there with the most educated, based patrons, which is how I see TexAgs, and if I was extremely brave (not saying that I am), I would try to carve out a future for my community of patrons by seeking to own my own infrastructure and not exist at the mercy of the big tech overlords.
Not easy to do! But until that pressure of woke policing of websites and ideas is removed from TexAgs, it will continue to lose long-time patrons through this new frustrating gag order on truth and ideas that go against the globally enforced Orwellian double speak and totally fake "science".
What makes TexAgs the greatest site on earth will otherwise fade and our beloved website will eventually become another subreddit or twitter trash heap. At that point we might as well be getting our football scoop from ESiPN or some other place not owned and run by conscientious Aggies.
I love TexAgs but my love has been tested immensely this last year. From one Brandon to another, I wish you nothing but success and wisdom going forward for all our sakes. TexAgs is a big part of who we are as Aggies and decent people. These times are tough and I hope we all make it through with our dignity and conscience intact.
