Hell, given the crap put out by all of the heads of the law enforcement agencies in Brazos County, I wouldn't be one here either. They'd throw you under the bus the instant BLM demanded it.

They also get quite a retirement package offered at 20 years on the force. They get full benefits and pension that is 70% of their last year's pay. Many of course keep working for several years after their "retirement".
