If you do that and a black perp is involved, you will get Chauvined. They will resist and you will have to use deadly force. And you will be ruined for it. This ain't 15 years ago. There has been a sea change.

I don't know anything about Chauvin or this lady who killed the other black criminal. Or even the guy who pepper sprayed the dumbazz Lt. But what if they have a wife, husband and kids? Their lives are runied. Not worth it bud. Not one damn bit.

I suggest you read Graham v. Connor and then if still not satisfied, take it to the Supreme Court.

To improve things cops need to actually enforce the law without restraint. The whole justice system needs to, letting violent people out with no bail leads to more crime, more calls to police, and more police interactions leading to more cases of police shootings. The relaxed justice system is contributing to the higher crime rates. But the police need the backing of the prosecutors and the judges and they don't have it.

No, what should happen is any white cop that is dispatched to a call where the perp is black, they should tell dispatch they're not taking it. They'll probably get punished, but it's better than ruining your life trying to save it protecting a community that hates you.
