I admit I never would have put money on more than manslaughter, but whatever. You could see the dude's murder boner from space. I'll give this one to them.
It's a wonder he hasn't murdered many times before. Minneapolis is a safer place with this murderer off the street and behind bars.

I think this correct verdict will finally start bringing the country together.

My guess is most cops feel the exact opposite (as it pertains to this case). 99.9% of the cops in this country would NOT have done what Chauvin did.
Yes. Cops are loving this beautiful environment.

(You are kidding also, right? Have to be.)

How many cops came to Chauvin's defense? My point is that ******* Chauvin made all cops jobs tougher. I can't imagine any other cops were pleased with the way Chauvin handled that situation.

Did you watch the trial? Do you think a person with 98% Oxygen levels asphyxiate? Do you think a person who asphyxiated has brain damage due to lack of oxygen?

Chauvin walked a tight line with his decisions, no doubt, but after all these facts that have come out and he gets hammered like that? **** THAT. Manslaughter maybe at best. This should put all law enforcement on notice.

You cannot be serious. You think what he did was appropriate?

So far every single interviewee on live feeds are claiming this was a small win, BUT "we still have a long way to go". Chauvin was almost immediately charged with murder and jailed, until found guilty of murder. There is no where else further to go...unless they want to start killing white farmers like in SAfrica.

This is what's completely ridiculous. Appropriate and murder are two different things. He walked a fine line, but murder? No way.

"No way"? You really think Floyd would have died if Chauvin had let him up say 5 minutes or so earlier when he was no longer resisting arrest, was handcuffed and under control?

Well... since he had 3 times the lethal dose of fentanyl in his system...

Please understand this good and hard...

Chauvin was interacting with Floyd as a police officer. He wasn't a random guy on the street.

Secondly, Chauvin followed MPD procedure nearly to a T.

And thirdly, Chauvin didn't get a full debriefing on Floyd's medical condition prior to placing him under arrest...because that would be ridiculous.

It doesn't matter about how much time. Has nothing at all to do with it.

Someone else might expire in 5, 4, 3, 2, 1 minute...who knows? How is any of that Chauvin's fault when he was there as part of his ******* job?

Well... he did have 4x the amount of Fentanyl in his system needed to be deadly. And the EMS was severely delayed in their response.

Happy with the way Chauvin handled the situation and happy with the fact that he was charged with murder as a result are two different things. And of the several LEO's I know, none of them are happy with the latter.

This "ethnic" group was "Kidnapped" by their own leaders then sold to a 3rd part (Hello British!) and transported to the western hemisphere, where a mere 3% arrived on US shores (388k out of 10.7 million).

This post should be flagged and removed as completely false information. Racist as well as you implicitly indicate African Americans are not "smart, capable, independent, risk takers, hard working and wanted to determine their own futures".

This "ethnic" group was "Kidnapped" by their own leaders then sold to a 3rd part (Hello British!) and transported to the western hemisphere, where a mere 3% arrived on US shores (388k out of 10.7 million).

I am talking abut the Africans brought over at that time. They were centuries behind the Americans and Europeans at that time. They never would have come here on their own accord. Some of their ancestors would have many years later though...generally the best, with many of the traits you look for in immigrants.

The Africans that I know and am Friends with who came here voluntarily almost ALL seem to have stable mid upper class families and are very smart. One of the smartest dudes I ever met while at A&M was a Nigerian chemical engineering major.

My point is that you could go to Ireland or Korea and randomly take a million people from those countries and it would be a horrible strategy that would definitely backfire. As opposed to naturally attracting that same number of voluntary migrants naturally over a longer period of time. Dumb, mediocre people are going to have higher rates of dumb mediocre kids...no matter what continent they come from.

It's definitely mostly cultural, but also there is a thing called "genetics". If we hypothetically imported 100 dumb white trash people from Australia, vs 100 smart hard working people...whose offspring is going to fare better generationally over the next hundred or two hundred years? I'm putting all my money on the latter.
