I like this. This board is moving away from rationalizing bills like this and just straight up admitting you are in favor of voter suppression

It's absolutely despicable and un-American, but it's at least refreshing to see some honesty.

One reason for new laws is to address problems. At one point only white men with property were allowed to vote. Our ancestors took care of that. But today when some son of a ***** can sit in Caracas and change election results(as happened in the November 2020 election) or some jackass right here in the US can collect MIB's and effect the outcome of an election by fraud(as happened in the Novemvber 2020 election) then it is past time to have that pendulum swing back the other way a little. Don't you think?

this post is peak comedy

And you are fully on board with making it easier for dimtards to cheat. That is beyond sad.
and you fully believe these nutty conspiracy theories that the former sore-loser-in-chief had the election stolen from him. that is beyond funny.

Only an idiot would think that MIB's would engender a fair election and using equipment that has the ability to make "adjustments to the count" would ensure a fair election. Are you an idiot that believes this was not used last November?

Dems can't name a single element of the bill that they disagree with, and instead just claim it racist voter suppression.

That tells you all you need to know about cheating.

Right. The very best thing that could potentially happen to the business of American Airlines due to this statement was that they would maintain the status quo in terms of market share and profit. There is a very large chance that this will piss off some of their customers and cause a decrease in their profits. They had nothing to gain as a business and plenty to lose for making this kind of statement. That is what makes it a very poor choice by management to do it. The board should consider penalizing or firing management for it and if the board doesn't, the shareholders should.

Clearly you don't understand the importance of airlines and a hub like ATL and DFW to commerce in the area.

The mistake is thinking that Corporations are "Pro" any political alignment other than those that directly benefit them. They funnel money into the Uni-party because the uniparty creates regulations that only the bigger corporations can overcome, thus strangling any competition, all the while getting tax breaks on the side.

A couple decades ago it was profitable to be Pro-American, patriots all day, Red/White/Blue Eagles everywhere on their products because of 9/11. Right now according to their research the majority is really into this Social justice/Leftists ideals kick so they fall in line as to avoid being in the cross fire of bad marketing.

Just so happens that Center-Left policy helps kill off small businesses for them so they have less to worry about. So right now its the best of both worlds for them.

Conducting secure, trustworthy elections should be one of the top priorities for any Government.
I believe the quote was Paxton's office spent 22k hours after the most recent election and found...15 cases. Please show me this data that shows this is such a huge issue. I'll wait.

This. I have been waiting for evidence of widespread voter fraud for a while now. And the only evidence the right has produced is their feelings about how they really feel strongly there was voter fraud.

And there is not an iota of evidence fraud was a problem in Texas in 2020. Turnout was just high. But when there is high turnout, the idiots in command whine about fraud. But I do find it a little funny how that crook Paxton wasted so much time and money looking for cases of fraud and found jack squat.

Wait actually there were some documented cases of voter fraud this year. They involved people voting for trump twice.

If this is true, then they should get the book thrown at them.

True. When I used to travel a modest amount, I avoided American Airlines like the plague. The corporation I worked for allowed me to make my own travel arrangements so I flew Delta, Southwest, Frontier and Western. The people that worked for American Airlines were on the whole, with some exceptions, rude, impatient and intolerant. Funny thing is I saved the corporate office ~30% or more by not using American Airlines.

Once, my American Airlines flight to New Orleans was late, missing the connection to DFW. Was told I would have to lay over. Went to Delta and they booked me a flight made all the arrangements transferring my payment from American Airlines, cost me nothing, even though Delta's price was normally more expensive. They were friendly, efficient and a pleasure to work with.

Lets ignore the voter suppression commentary since it makes some of you crazy.

It is asinine to reduce voting availability when you look at recent election wait times, reduced polling stations each of the last few elections, and making vote by mail more difficult than it already is. I was out of state during elections and getting a ballot was like moving mountains, I know other Texans who FLEW HOME to vote.

Also, the angle that this will make elections more secure is silly. What is so insecure about our elections right now? Thousands of posts on this forum about it, yet no motivated state official (eg AG) could find a smoking gun to make people of every party sit back and go "holy ****, we have to fix that." If it existed they would find it and be the biggest swinging d*** in the Republican Party for making Trump right. They haven't because it doesn't exist.

It makes total sense in the current era. Corporations are no longer solely about the profit motive. They have to be "good citizens" and comment on the political topics of the day because their shareholders and employees demand it.

Liberals own stock as well and one of the trends over the last decade is them realizing that instead of fighting with corporations just buy their stock and change it from within. Regarding employees, millennials became the largest demographic at my former company about 2 years ago. Guess what? Most of them vote Democrat.

They want their employer following the DNC. My entire team before I left aside from one other guy were all Democrats with a couple of them being full-blown Bernie bros and I had one girl that was pro-communist.

Much like widespread election fraud hypothesis, that ALL politicians on both sides are involved in that level of conspiracy is something I'm unwilling to accept. Like I said, if ONE of them, like the Georgia AG, could have produced credible election fraud significant enough to have swayed election he would have written his check for the rest of his life, politically and financially. You can't have this both ways that these bills will mitigate fraud AND that there is so much fraud that everyone is in on it.

If those statements about the lack of custody and missing information on the majority of GA ballots are accurate, then I don't understand why anyone could not be for shoring this up.

If that is simply irrelevant to you then you are clearly out to to rig the system in your favor to maintain loopholes that primarily benefit you (Democrats).
