Property sex?

https://www.maxim.com/news/property-porn-2016-6

It looks like it is very popular. It isn't clear whether they are filming in houses that are for sale while pretending to show the property. Unless they want to use the same sets over and over again, it seems like using other people's houses would be the way to go.

Probably filming for advertising her own RE business. That might present an ethical problem, if you're using a house of this kind to represent what you're selling and it's not something you typically sell.

Or she was filming a porno. That's also a problem.

How does one hold a camera and think it is a gun, so you throw it to the ground?
If you're already suspicious, you're in the middle of a confrontation, and someone raises a black, pointy, object next to your person....

Just be glad his immediate reaction is to "disarm" you, not shoot you.
So you would mistake a profession camera that you are holding and destroy it because you cannot tell the difference in your hand?

Cool.

Good luck.
Tanya,

I usually cut you some slack. But this is simply a dumb response from you.

But I've been around guns and "profession" cameras my entire life. Anyone who raises an object toward you during a conflict should be grateful if the only response from an armed opponent is that the object gets knocked out of your hand.

Close enough to grab it from someone but unable to determine between a camera and a gun.

Like I said, cool.

FIFY. And he is 43. The agent was 33. Not that it really matters.

Very easy for you to play keyboard warrior, and pretend you would have seen everything clearly, had 100% knowledge of weapons, that you would have used your psychic powers to determine his intention, and been able to see the future, and know you would have been safe. And had the benefit of several minutes to decide.

Meanwhile, the guy who was actually there, and could read the mood of the "photographer", saw a two to three pound hunk of steel and glass being raised, and had to make an instant decision as to whether it was a threat.

In this day of cameras....most of us know what is going on when we are not around.
Especially when the house price is above $500k

Where did you see "four hour long"???

I see that it was scheduled from 3:10 to 4:10, so perhaps that's where the confusion comes.

Some will be disappointed that it wasn't 4 hours, kind of kills the idea that it was a porno.

I'd say it was just really tacky, unethical behavior from the agent. I suspect she got defensive when called on it, and played the race card.

Holy crap a RE agent in the Deep South with 192,000 followers? And she comes across more as a high price escort than anything else.

Is she on the BET version of "Flip or Flop" or something?

Honestly, whatever it was or wasn't - if there was no prior communication and an agent shows up with 10 people and tons of equipment bags - I too would have showed up to ask them to explain or leave

It seems like the pulling of the gun was a secondary issue - likely an overly nervous dude (outnumbered 10:1) and the tensions flared when a camera was pointed at him.

Unless the "buyers agent" wants to explain the crew and conspicuous lack of a buyer - this whole thing is going to get dropped

Not that hard. Let's say he makes $150k. Wife makes $100k. He has side job as most firemen do(although not sure how much time the chief has) so he makes another $75k. He bought the house 7 years ago for $600k. Well within reason.

All assuming of course.

Think about what a 10 person camera/lighting crew would cost for four hours or so.

How many houses could the real estate agent do this at and break even?

My impression is that the more expensive the home and the more sophisicated the buyer, the more homes they look at before making a choice.

Wait... WHY is someone other than the listing agent photographing the home???
So much this.

It's not her listing.

It's not an empty house.

The gall to show up with a freaking entourage of a dozen people is appalling.

She contacted the listing agent, and said she was going to do a showing. Instead, she shows up, not with a potential buyer, but with a film crew.

Something is damn fishy, and it's not the homeowner pulling a gun.

Can any realtors comment on the ethics of filming someplace that's not your listing, or saying you're doing a showing, when you aren't?

Yep, she was going to writhe seductively in various states of undress all over their furniture and post it on her Fans Only site

That's what I think was happening. She was not the listing agent, and she wasn't showing it to any potential buyers. She thought it would be.a good backdrop for a video promoting herself.
