There is something fishy as hell about all this. The realtor has 192k followers on IG, but only 48 posts. She rebranded her old account back in July 2020. Her "business" Instagram has 254 followers. Her "business" FB page has 2 followers. She has more then 50% followers in common with seemingly OnlyFan weird porn pages.
The only realtor stuff I can even find on Regina Lee is her own LinkedIn page. There's no Regina Lee that comes up directly through PalmerHouse Properties own website.

Or has significant mineral interests, inherited a pile from his or her parents, inherited rental properties, was a beneficiary on a life insurance policy, etc. A lot of people can't get past someone affording something based on the income they earn from a job because that is how they themselves pay for their home, but there are more than a few that have more home than their job could support, or own a nice place at the beach, or acreage somewhere and it comes from other than wages.Yesterday said:Biz Ag said:

Not that hard. Let's say he makes $150k. Wife makes $100k. He has side job as most firemen do(although not sure how much time the chief has) so he makes another $75k. He bought the house 7 years ago for $600k. Well within reason.

Appraisal district shows Melody Rose Jones as the owner, who I guess is Melody Rickels. House did not hit the tax rolls until 2020, permit pulled in 2019, so they haven't been making payments on it long. Could be her side of the family financed the construction with the intent to sell the place. Or film pornos!

A couple of things to add to this.
With COVID-19 the showing of homes has changed. The seller and the seller's agent DO NOT want massive amounts of people in a home. You only want legit buyers coming in the home and you certainly do not want a camera crew of 10. There are also strict protocols in place when you host an Open House.
This Buyers Agent Realtor was totally out of line by bringing in this crew without knowledge and direct permission of the sellers or the sellers agent.
Also, the price of homes outside of Texas are usually much higher. This is why we are experiencing a massive influx of out of state buyers coming into Texas. They can sell their POS home for a high price and get the same home in Texas for a lot less. But, the catch in Texas is our high property taxes, which many states do not have at such a high level.

In the Zillow pics you can see the yard is freshly planted, you can still see the sod squares. I'm betting new construction. Chief may be a GC.

Neglecting any legal, ethical or COVID concerns, bringing in an entourage like that into someone's home is just rude. It sounds like the chief and his wife were still residing there.
When selling homes in the past, I hated having to keep the house in perfect condition and then having to leave suddenly to let strangers walk through it. I've been lucky though. Both houses I had to sell were under contract in only a manner of days.
