Chauvin's reaction looks like a man that knows he ****ed up though. Doesn't convey murder, but does convey responsibility.
He is on trial for his life
I would think he knows to look concerned for the jury and solemn

He stated they did not receive the additional information on why the call was upgraded to Code 3. But according to the printout, the Code 3 went out with explanation of suspect down on the ground under restraint or words to that effect. When dispatch sends that Code3 out the same information goes to everyone involved in that call.Waffledynamics said:I'm confused here. What was he lying about? I thought he said it was code 2 and then code 3.aggiehawg said:No idea but either the dispatcher was wrong or he is but the dispatcher had a printout on the 911 call that went out with the Code 3 and it was that suspect was restrained and on the ground.Good Poster said:Why would he lie?aggiehawg said:And we know he's lying here. Missing a lot of detail between upgrade to code 3 and arrival on scene.
He's roundabout saying it was a load and go because of the crowd.
LOL what? He looks like a man who was in the middle of a super intense situation with someone he was dealing with as a cop and a rowdy crowd on top of it.NASAg03 said:

It was not a one off. She had a line of questioning about it.Troutslime said:I didn't see that as a lie. I saw it as he was coached to not provide that information unless brought up in cross.aggiehawg said:
A minute and a half later upgraded to Code 3.
He just lied. The printout by the dispatcher gave the conditions as suspect down and being restrained and that was sent out with the Code 3 to everyone.
Thank you so much for the information. You lawyers know how to pick this apart better than I do while I work.aggiehawg said:He stated they did not receive the additional information on why the call was upgraded to Code 3. I feel like the last two days of the State proving there was no "mob" there by having the young girls and normal people is killed by the EMT saying he wanted to get the patient in and moved just a few blocks.
that just shows that even the EMT needed to get away from the area.
He was trained in a HS class. What do you expect?aggiehawg said:
This guy sucks. He doesn't even know how to articulate what his job entails. And his job entails communications between ambulance and hospital as well as his partner and any others present. Must be the reason he's the driver.

I'm not an EMT... but if the guy is "flatlined" compressions isn't what he needs.
He needs a defibrillator. This guy is terrible.
I think that he would need something to keep blood pumping while they got ready for the defibrilator.DallasAg 94 said:

Defense is going to tear this apart asking about foam mouth, experience with OD's, etc. Another state witness that's going to support the defense.
He was a paramedic though right? He had more training.Fightin TX Aggie said:
Again, an EMT is almost always a guy who stayed at a Holiday Inn Express the night before but thinks he is a junior doctor.
Yeah, but paramedics spent like a week at the holiday inn.NASAg03 said:He was a paramedic though right? He had more training.Fightin TX Aggie said:

She knows where she's trying to go, which is why she's leading the witness. She sucks.FriscoKid said:
And, I'll say again. I don't know where she is headed with this.
Trying to convince everyone that he's not really an expert in any of this? All I got.FriscoKid said:
