I have no idea. Cahill probably just gave Frank a dirty look so he has to step in and ask her specific question. Floyd was a security guard at the Salvation Army flop house.LostTexasBoy said:

The prosecution is asking George Floyd's girlfriend some questions to try to evoke sympathy. So we're hearing how she met him, whether he had children, etc.LisaMarie said:

Maybe the prosecutor is going to get to some big point, but I just don't see how this helps the State's case at all. In reality it makes it look like they are grasping at straws. Like, we have no facts to back up our case so let's put people on the stand that will cry over him. Again, what does this have to do with the actions of Chauvin? Give me a ****ing break!aggiehawg said:I have no idea. Cahill probably just gave Frank a dirty look so he has to step in and ask her specific question. Talking about the drug use. Any of the legal experts, can this be used to admit more of the 2019 arrest video?
There goes the tolerance angle...NASAg03 said:
He's much larger. Why would they use the same amounts?

Hawg, is the reason the State has levied so many related charges against Chauvin a case of the prosecution simply hoping that something will stick? I've heard of, say, felony assault accompanying a trespassing charge, but never have I seen multiple descending murder charges accompanied by a manslaughter charge.

Really trying to get people to feel bad for them and their drug use.
That hit my family directly in one case unfortunately. I'm 100% for curbing opioid use big time. These pain pill doctors out there are the scum of the earth.aggiehawg said:
A "classic story" of becoming an opioid addiction. Started out with prescribed meds.
