It seems to me that David used his God given intelligence to make use of a tool to overcome Goliath's brawn.

The problem with this image is that it doesn't capture economics or human nature. Let's say their heights are actually bar graphs of their marketable economic value (which is itself a representation of what they can produce). If you steal from the old & successful man at gun-point, and give it to the 'little guy' you destabilize the entire incentive structure that makes the economy work. I know many black people, grew up with them, etc. like most here. I also have eyes and a brain and can do research. I also grew up poor with a single parent. Neither parent finished high school. I have 3 degrees and am by all accounts very successful. Please explain to me how that happened? Did my skin color give me magical powers?
Guess what it didn't give me? Unwarranted admission into academic programs I wasn't qualified for or scholarships based purely on my skin color.
