Good thing that GA phone call was recorded, otherwise the usual sycophants would have denied all of that as well.
Uh, we all listened to it too. There's absolutely nothing wrong with it. Lawyer for 13 plus years here.

Was that claim ever proving? It was made by his ex-wife's lawyer during a divorce hearing, so you can't put much stock in it.

Rudolph W. Giuliani, who has helped oversee a string of failed court challenges to President Trump's defeat in the election, asked the president's campaign to pay him $20,000 a day for his legal work, multiple people briefed on the matter said.
The request stirred opposition from some of Mr. Trump's aides and advisers, who appear to have ruled out paying that much, and it is unclear how much Mr. Giuliani will ultimately be compensated.

It is not out of line with what Trump has been accused of doing in the past. There have been allegations he did this to contractors who worked on his construction projects.
Yes but as a contractor, I can tell you those rumors are stupid and are much like people who don't understand money, complaining about his taxes. I'm sure there were plenty of disputes with subs when building enormous structures like he does, but then they file a lien, it gets litigated, and if they are awarded a settlement, they get it. It's like people assume he just stiffed subs willynilly and they had no recourse, which is silly.
Incredibly naive post. A lot of subs work job to job. Do not have the resources or time to fight someone in court for lengthy period of times. This wisdom will come to you with experience.

Zero chance Trump done that to Rudy. None.
Rudy produced zero usable evidence, accidentally booked a presser in front of a landscaping warehouse next to a porn shop, had the sides of his hair melting on TV, and was hands deep in his trousers in a Borat movie.
If you think Trump SHOULD pay Giuliani, you're the moron in the equation.

Lots of subs get tangled up in change order disputes and cost overruns and then disputes over contract terms being fulfilled or not and it's legally arbitrated. Cost of doing big business can be high. The bigger the project the more likely there are disputes, but I don't think many would argue Trump's team played more legal hardball than most.

It is very different to file a lien to get the waivers vs getting pennies on the dollar for work completed after filing BK.
