My goodness, it is a HYPOTHETICAL premise.

Meaning, by definition, I'm in no way suggesting that it will, or will not happen. The question I'm asking is that IF it did, and the results created better outcomes for you, your family, and the country, would you prefer that over a different administration, even if that administration produced worse results for you, your family, and the country (and define those results however you want, it's a freaking hypothetical).

The crux of the HYPOTHETICAL is do you care more about your party/candidate than you do for the wellbeing of yourself and your country?

I always want the President of the United States to be successful, regardless of party affiliation. It appears that many people in this country look at this like a football game and really want their party to succeed, and the other party to fail, and could care less about the actual consequences for the country.

You need to define "successful " in terms beyond my own selfish financial gain.

If your saying his admin would cause my wealth to double (with little to no inflation) but all my guns are confiscated then I'm going to say no.

This seems to be the conclusion to which you planned to come to from the start.

It isn't a party affiliation thing, it's a "Biden's policies are bad for America" thing. Just like Obama, if his policies succeed, Americans are negatively impacted.

Paris accords, Iran deal, higher taxes? Not good.
A & M, GIVE US ROOM!

Pelosi has already changed the House Rules to allow for GND and Medicare-for-all.

Quote:

A major change is the elimination of paygo the requirement that members find a way to pay for legislation when it is introduced. This will allow Medicare-For-All and the Green New Deal to be pursued without any plan for paying for such expensive legislation trillions of dollars at stake. It's a dream come true for progressives. Rep. Ilhan Omar is pleased about this.

The faulty part of your premise is that you conflate success of the POTUS with success of the USA.

If a POTUS stated that he would send all liberals or conservatives to concentration camps, would you be hoping for him to be successful?

The conservatives on here want success for the USA. They think that the policies of Biden will hinder the success of the USA. Therefore, they do not want Biden to be successful in implementing his policies.

Somehow, I doubt you were rooting for Trump to get everything that he proposed implemented...that is, be successful.

Would you prefer a prosperous and peaceful America in a Biden Whitehouse or is party affiliation more important to you than the health and well=being of our country?
I want a peaceful and prosperous America. However, Biden and his policies run counter to producing peace and prosperity. So I want Biden and his policies to fail miserably so that the U.S. can have the peace and prosperity seen under the first 3 years of the Trump administration.

So you are a Trump supporter, yes? Or you were at least until Covid gave you an excuse not to be?

I'd like OP to explain how Dem policies would lead to a better America for anyone but the Democratic Party, it's dependents and the foreign countries who own them
