If the company that has provided the election software to Venezuela for 15 years is innocent, then they should sue for defamation.

If not, they and their bosses should be to jail and as well as the many politicians that attempted to cover it up.

I simply want people and politicians to follow the law.

Does he have standing? Unless he can prove he suffered harm from allegations about the system, it would seem he/she/it needs to prove standing.

Isnt this the employee that they specifically singled out and claimed was on some Antifa Zoom call claiming he was going to fix the election so Trump couldn't win?

What would be great is if the dominion employee was actually doing this as a favor to open up discovery.

Goes in to pretty good detail on how his name was repeatedly used publicly by the defendants. Also goes into his alleged damages. Not sure I'm understanding the lack of standing argument, but there seems to be a real problem understanding the concept of standing on this forum lately.

So while I don't think this gets tossed for lack of standing, i also don't think much will come of this suit, maybe something will stick to that dude that originally tied Coomer to the Antifa Zoom call (assuming defendant can't establish that to be true), but I think Giuliani and the down stream consumers and purveyors will be able to avoid liability.

Yes. And he might have a cognizable claim there.

Problem for Coomer is all of the videos of him conducting demonstrations that are out there. Also, the federal suit in Georgia, the Curling v. Raffensperger, et, al. case, he's a terrible witness and gets ripped to shreds on cross. Judge Totenberg found him to be not credible.

Further, there will be some interesting discovery issues if he goes through with it. Will have to be a carefully crafted complaint not to open the doors to Dominion itself and I'm not sure that's even possible.

Dominion already filed similar suits against Fox News and Newsmax. Or didn't you see their on-air retractions of all the crap they've been spewing?

A) This is in state court not federal as there is no federal question nor diversity since he's also sued Colorado residents.

B) In personam jurisdiction is an issue with some of the defendants from my brief review. I expect some Special Appearances contesting jurisdiction.

Fully agree. Get a hold of those transcripts from all of those hearings before Totenberg and any other sworn testimony he has given in the past. I'm sure they will be filled with potential landmines over which Coomer will trip.

Throw in the statements of CEO Poulos about company policy not to assist local election workers when they are whether by design or accident, miscounting the ballots as a part of their "service" and go from there.
